Homepod can be used for an output device for anything using Airplay. But I don't think it is setup tHomepod can be used for an output device for anything using Airplay. But I don't think it is setup to work as an input device, as it is designed to listen for "hey Siri" in order to perform any of its functions. With all the built in mics it has, such capability would be nice, though, as it does activate the mics for use in phone calls. - Answered by Michael M from Atlanta
