      Not worth the money

Unfor I purchased the Belkin USB-C to VGA Adapter to go along with my new Macbook Pro laptop in December. Being a teacher, I use the adapter on a daily basis. Unfortunately the quality of the device leaves something to be desired as it quit working as of yesterday! This is something unacceptable, as I rely on this device to effectively perform my job functions and this easily side rails my daily lesson plans. I have used the prior display adapter VGA adapter for years, on my prior Macbooks with no problems and my sister still has that working adapter, along with my older Macbook. The subpar quality of this device, considering the price, is simply beyond unacceptable.

As a marketing communications consultant and instructor at a local college, I use images and video frequently in my work & lectures. Simply put, I need this adapter to do my job(s). After too much (wasted) time trying to figure out why it wouldn't work, I realized it was the adapter, not my poor technical skills. This was confirmed when (at a client's office) I was able to easily connect to a second monitor with a cheap off-brand adapter that was provided to me. So, back to the Apple Store to return this pricey accessory. I would give this product no stars if I could. Very disappointing.

buyer beware. I purchased this adapter with my new (terrible) MBP 13" laptop because (of course) all the ports are different than my other Mac laptops. I lect buyer beware. I lecture a lot and was always confused why the projected image of my presentation was never the full with of the projector--by accident, I realized when swapping out with the $70 apple adapter, it's because the chip in the Belkin adapter cuts the projection by ~80%. utter BS. don't waste your money.....
