Bluetooth module needs to be overhauled

Now, when the bluetooth DOES work, the range is very decent (~100ft. unobstructed). It can also connect to 2 devices at the same time, though you must stop the audio on one before listening to the other (and there's a ~5-10 second delay). Also, you would think that the middle button was for play/pause, however, sometimes it worked and others not. All told, these headphones are everything you'd expect from Bose, but the bluetooth is GARBAGE. Problems with bluetooth: 1.) Randomly drops devices (even within <1ft. range). 2.) Difficult to reconnect once device is "lost". 3.) Audio drops out randomly for a split second or a crackling noise is heard. 4.) Middle button works MOST of the time. NEVER have I had this much trouble from other bluetooth devices. I sincerely believe that Bose chose to overcomplicate the QC35 bluetooth module under the guise of functionality and produced a mediocre (at best) experience for the customer. What is the point of bluetooth headphones that cannot remain connected?

      Very Disappointed

I may have gotten a bad pair, but there was no noise cancelling at all. I also could not detect any bass. In fact my ears have been ringing for two days since I may have gotten a bad pair, but there was no noise cancelling at all. I also could not detect any bass. In fact my ears have been ringing for two days since I tried to use them. For $350 very disappointed. I have an older set I purchased about 4 years ago that sound wonderful and do cancel out any outside noise. The only problem is I have a slight short in my wire and can't seem to find a replacement part for this. I returned the wireless, and wondering if I should give another set a go.
