This unit when left turned on will use a small amount of power in order to keep itself running. It w This unit when left turned on will use a small amount of power in order to keep itself running. It will not have the connected unit (Lights, TV, etc.) run power through it. The reason it uses power is so that it can keep its communication running in order to allow you to wirelessly turn on or off the appliance

The instruction manual of my 6000 BTU window AC by LG says 115v @ 60hz // 560 Watts // 5.6A...but oc The instruction manual of my 6000 BTU window AC by LG says 115v @ 60hz // 560 Watts // 5.6A...but occasionally when the AC “works harder” to cool, IT JUST SHUTS OFF when connected to 1 of my 2 Elgato Eve Energy’s.
Note that this never happens to the 2nd Elgato Eve Energy, which controls a bigger 10,000 BTU window AC by GE that is rated at 115v // 860 Watts // 7.5A- Answered by Jonathan R from Weehawken

Yes.
It's slower than other HomeKit devices. There's a 2-3 second lag before Siri reacts to your Yes.
It's slower than other HomeKit devices. There's a 2-3 second lag before Siri reacts to your command. It's annoying that you're not sure if Siri heard you or whether Eve is just slow again.
