      Not what I expected.

My intention was to use the this external hard drive for my iTunes library. However, this thing is so slow my iTune beachballs from 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Som My intention was to use the this external hard drive for my iTunes library. However, this thing is so slow my iTune beachballs from 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Sometimes it just crashes. When my computer falls asleep the hard drive falls asleep too and crashes iTunes. I asked an Apple store assistance about this hard drive for this purpose and was told it would work. Not for the above description. I have used LaCie prior to G-Technology and has worked great for years. I just needed to get a large storage and thought I would save $30 at the time. I was a fool.
