      Cleaver design - awful materials

I love that it has an adjustable kickstand, backlit keys, and easily detaches from the keyboard. What I find sorely disappointing is the hard plastic they used. In this day of soft-touch plastics, I'm surprised they chose this hard, cheap-feeling material. I currently use a 9.7 pro with Apple's silicon case and their keyboard. I love caring that thing around - feels so good in the hand! The function of Logitech's slim-combo is a winner, so I'll be keeping it. I just wish they'd made a different choice in the material.

And heavy. If you're used to using Logitech's keyboard case for the 9.7 ipad pro, get ready for something that feels much bigger and heavier. It kinda sorta defeats the purpose of an ipad if it's in a case with a keyboard that makes it bigger -- or at the very least heavier -- than a Macbook Air. Make no mistake: the keyboard works flawlessly and there is merit to the multi-piece configuration, but this is by no means slim.

      Bulky, but highly functional

Just upgraded my Air 2 with Type + setup. I was tempted by the detachable keyboard and more versatile setup. Never loved Apple's smart keyboard or the price. No Just upgraded my Air 2 with Type + setup. I was tempted by the detachable keyboard and more versatile setup. Never loved Apple's smart keyboard or the price. Not sure if I love the materials on this. The hard plastic seems a little cheap. I've only had it for a day so I can't speak to durability. Love the backlit keyboard for nighttime blogging.

      Good Try, but issues

Instead, it cycles through my available keyboard settings (English/Mandarin/Emoji). There is already a button for that. - Lage gap between screen and keyboard when close... Why not make the keyboard sit flush in side the case rim or leave just a few millimeters? - Fabric on opposite side of the keyboard is far from ideal. A rubberized material would be better for grip and easier to clean. I would not need this if Apple keyboard offered pencil holder and some combination of protection for the back of iPad.

Happy with the function so far

I've seen mixed reviews and was not sure what to think. I do like the keyboard and find the smart connection to work great. The magnet could be stronger but in I've seen mixed reviews and was not sure what to think. I do like the keyboard and find the smart connection to work great. The magnet could be stronger but in practice it doesn't seem to be an issue. I really bought this keyboard to get more "laptop" type use out of my iPad investment. I also really like the full protection it offers the iPad compared to the apple option-which is also nice. The increased size is not an issue for me because I drop things and they break! My phone has been in a case for years and it has save me many times over. I just did not want to take a risk with a new iPad Pro and the $$ invested. I like that I can leave the keyboard at home if I want and just have the basic iPad protection as well. No -I can use it on my lap-but that is not a need for me. I'm almost always at a table for typing work and if I'm just reading I detach the keyboard. It appears top be durable. I hope to get two plus years out of the case and keyboard-anything beyond that and I'll be very happy. I don't use a pencil so I can't say how the holder works. I use it as a tab to open the case. Surprised by how much I like the IPad Pro and this keyboard/case make it more useful for me and so I'd recommend people give it a try. You can always return in in two weeks if not satisfied.

      a miss

Order the slim combo but had not had a chance to play with it, its the only backlit available with smart connectors. Its bulky, its very clumsy to set up with Order the slim combo but had not had a chance to play with it, its the only backlit available with smart connectors. Its bulky, its very clumsy to set up with the kick stand (no need to mimic Surface).. just to turn it into a workhorse is a chore... i have gone back to using the UAG cover with the smart key board (from 9.7") until another solution comes. just wasted over a hundred bucks..
