As a seasoned business traveler, I've used everything from Bose to Sennheiser and prefer the Rayz because of comfort, sound quality, and portability. When wearing on-ear and over-the-ear headphones, they become uncomfortable and warm which never is the case with the Rayz. The noise cancellation is great because it easily allows me to auto calibrate to my immediate surroundings, with the touch of a button. The app is intuitive as it allows me to fine-tune my preferences. I regularly use my Rayz for conference calls as the microphone is outstanding. Callers on the other end tell me the sound quality is crystal clear. Last, is be remiss not to mention the sound quality. The Rayz gives you deep rich bass as well as good mid and high tones. An overall good listening experience. I bought the Rayz Plus because I need the ability to charge my iPhone while using the earbuds. While I like the idea of wireless Bluetooth earbuds, I constantly find that they need to be charged. With Rayz, they are powered by the Lightning port on my iPhone and always ready when I need them.

Two places I no longer go without Rayz: office, flights

And using Two places I no longer go without Rayz: the office and flights. I work in an open office format, and these earphones are key for calls or deep focus. And using Rayz on a flight is a game-changer. They actually eliminate most of the engine and air noise, AND deliver killer audio quality with great bass! Makes for a much more pleasant trip. The new auto-mute feature is technology that puts a smile on my face because it works! I take calls wherever I am - on a shuttle or in a factory, for example. Turns out the key to a good call is actually hearing what other people say - auto-mute helps, and is hands-free. Great audio technology aside, Rayz are extremely low-profile, easy to carry, durable and attractive.

No need to remember to charge them. Great sound – the bass is deep and the treble is crisp. The smart noise cancelling really works well and adapts to the sounds around me. I also love the hear-thru mode and also the auto-pause mode when I take them out of my ears. The ability to charge my phone while listening to music comes in very handy. I am looking forward to the product’s app updates. I highly recommend.

Garbage noise cancelling, poor fitting, too heavy bass, and lightning too

These are junk...especially for the price. Just went coast to coast with these on an airplane and the noise cancelling sucked. Let in anything above 10kHz....so I was listening to music with a constant hiss. I kept "recalibrating" but it did no good. Even worse, because the speaker tube is so short, there is not way to get these into my ear with a good isolation fit. Oh, and the "sharp" edges make them uncomfortable in one's ears, too! In the end, I much prefer a design with noise isolation and a good fit over these clunky and ill-fitting. Final straw -- there is no such thing as a lightning female to 3.5mm phono plug (male) adapter. Never will be. So if you are looking for something you can wear on planes (and use the in-fight entertainment console) you are better off buying a normal 3.5mm headphones and carrying the short $8 lightning male to 3.5mm jack adapter. Then you have a good one-headphone solution for everything (from iPhone to MacBook to in-fllight audio).

      Great for Office Use

I originally purchased these headphones for a trip and my time on the airplane. I wound up getting the Beats Studio 3 and they worked great for my trip. I bro I originally purchased these headphones for a trip and my time on the airplane. I wound up getting the Beats Studio 3 and they worked great for my trip. I brought these headphones to my office and they are perfect. The noise level was very high due to a nearby co-worker that did not understand that they do not have to shout into their phone. Once I put these on, his noise went away. The sound when you adjust the EQ is really good. There is a good amount of bass and the sound is good across the mids and highs. Another plus is that you do not have to charge these headphones, they use the phone power and I have not noticed too much of a battery drain. The appearance of the headphones seems a little plasticy for them being $130, but that may help them stay in your ears since they are lightweight. Overall, a good buy. Since I purchased the Studio 3's I was planning on returning them, but after using them at work I decided to keep them.

      Have truly enjoyed these.

You know that they care about how you are going to use them. When you download the app for the headphones and then plug them in. It tests your ears to make sure you are getting the best sound. You then choose different settings, and you are truly shocked at how good the sound is for such small speakers. One of my favorite features is the auto mute when you are speaking on the phone. It allows you to hear clearly when the other person is talking and the caller is not distracted from what is going on around you during the call.
