Besides being ju As an extensive business traveler, I use a variety of different headphones and earphones. I highly recommend the Pioneer Rayz earphones. Besides being just a great-sounding headphone with superb noise canceling capability, one of the best features was the companion App with a load of additional features: - The Smart Mute feature was excellent - it allows me to take calls from noisy places like city streets and airports in a way that I could not before - the Smart Mute feature automatically mutes when I stop talking, so background noise doesn't interfere with the other person talking! - The ability to activate Hey Siri with one's voice - no need to press any buttons to activate Hey Siri like you have to do with other headphones!   These earphones are a must-have for anyone to have in their briefcase or backpack, and for audiophiles to use at home or on the go...

Great purchase, if a little pricey

One of the earbuds on the Apple earphones fell out frequently. With the wide range of earbuds available on the Pioneer, I'm sure to get a good fit. I haven't even tried the foam ones yet; a little more documentation on why Pineer included both foam and silicone earbuds would have been nice. I like the app that comes with it, especially the equalizer and the "smart button" controls. I looked at a lot of options, and seriously considered the wireless Bluetooth models because I don't really like the wire getting in my way, but I chose these based on the other reviews, and also because I wouldn't like needing a separate charger for the Bluetooth phones. I listen to both classical and popular music, and I find that these sound really good, although I have only the standard earphones to compare them with. One problem I am running into is that intermittently, and at about five or 10 minute intervals, the sound spontaneously pauses; I can easily restart it, and so far, I have found that leaving the auto pause feature off has prevented the problem. Although I've used them for many hours, I'm only on my second day of working with them. I'll see if I can work that problem out before I take them back to the store.

Excellent noise cancelling absolute value for money

I wanted wired earphones with active noise cancelling and didn’t want to deal with Bluetooth connectivity, charging batteries and additional cables.  So, aft I wanted wired earphones with active noise cancelling and didn’t want to deal with Bluetooth connectivity, charging batteries and additional cables.  So, after checking many reviews online, I was all set to buy a Bose QC 20 earphones. I was not very happy about the bulky battery hanging out but every option out there had a battery sticking out. I did consider the JBL Reflect Aware earphones because it didn’t have a battery but the reviews didn’t look good as they drain the iPhone batteries pretty quick. So that was not a good option as well.  Luckily, on the way to the Bose shop was an authorized Apple reseller so I popped in out of curiosity and I immediately liked the Pioneer Rayz Plus. They didn’t let me try them on but I took a leap of faith and bought them right away. I really love them. Great sound quality, really good noise cancellation, no battery sticking out, the iPhone 6 / iPad Pro 10.5 battery drain is negligible, and the best thing is the super clever charging port and they are really affordable as well.  I am really glad I walked into the Apple store :-)

      Best earbuds I’ve ever heard

Absolutely fantastic product! I’m a huge Apple fan...Pioneer, not so much. Still, I heard great reviews about these and I’ve been trying to find some earbud Absolutely fantastic product! I’m a huge Apple fan...Pioneer, not so much. Still, I heard great reviews about these and I’ve been trying to find some earbuds that I like. Turns out these I LOVE! They sound INCREDIBLE! Absolutely natural, feels like I’m listening to really nice speakers. Bass is also amazing. That’s after purchasing two different pairs of earbuds from both Shure and Audeze that were in the $500-600 range and did a big fat nothing for me. Returned the latter in fact. These rule!
