      Worthless Product, Doesn't Work

Would give 0 stars if I could. While it was frustrating enough to purchase similar, cheaper products that weren't Apple approved and have them not work properly Would give 0 stars if I could. While it was frustrating enough to purchase similar, cheaper products that weren't Apple approved and have them not work properly or break easily, it was truly infuriating to spend $35 on this product in Apple's own store and have it NOT WORK STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. How is it possible that they've designed a phone that's not actually practical to use as a phone?! I use my phone to make a lot of conference and work related calls throughout the day so it dies all the time because I have to choose between using headphones or charging. It's ridiculous that I can't charge my phone and use headphones at the same time (unless I buy wireless headphones which drain battery faster than the old audio jack headphones). Or heaven forbid you travel and are frequently on a plane ride over two hours because you'll have to choose between using headphones for in-flight entertainment or charging your phone. And no, I don't think I should have to blow $350 to buy new wireless noise-cancelling headphones when I already have a great Bose set just because the one I have requires an audio jack in the phone. Apple, if you're going to make stupid changes to all your new phones, the very least you could do is make your overpriced accessories (that are now necessary to make the phone function for everyday use) in such a way that they actually work. Because all I accomplished with this purchase was a long return process to waste my time.

      Dissapointing

I've been through 4 of these in a year. The charger constantly goes out. For $40, I feel like it should definitely work for longer than a couple of months. Unfortunately this is the only option available so I just have to keep buying them

I tried with multiple headphones to see if they were the problem and not the adapter but it is 100% the adapter. I will be taking this back.

It worked well at first, until it became very frustrating to use and I had to bend it in a certain way so that the audio connection would stop cutting out. I guarantee that Apple knows they are selling something that doesn’t work because they want you to buy air pods. Don’t give in! Switch to Samsung or something. Or in my case, buy a cheap pair of well-working wireless headphones.

      Come on Apple

You are forcing us to use this stupid “dongle.” Please at least make the dongle work. Its already an annoying enough thing to force people to buy as it is. I You are forcing us to use this stupid “dongle.” Please at least make the dongle work. Its already an annoying enough thing to force people to buy as it is. I travel a lot and this is the only way I can use my phone on long flights, as well as in my car. To be forced to buy one of these every 2 months because of the pore quality is absurd. Don't give us free U2 albums, make your alternative dongle adaptor work. It is so outrageous. Or Better yet give us back the headphone jack and take a dongle income loss for the sheer joy of your customers. You can return the album back to U2... I just want a working solution.

Stopped working in less than a month

I thought it may be my own car auxiliary port that wasn't working after going through a few of these, but turns out it's just a bad product. REALLY frustrating I thought it may be my own car auxiliary port that wasn't working after going through a few of these, but turns out it's just a bad product. REALLY frustrating as I'm on the road a lot and need a charged phone as well as tunes. Worked for a few weeks, then went out. Bought a cheap one off amazon, went out even sooner. Thought about buying this one again but I will absolutely not be spending another 40 bucks on a defective product. Either bring the headphone jack back or make a functioning product that allows us to charge and listen to music at the same time!! We don't all have fancy bluetooth cars and wireless headphones!!!
