The drive is a 2.0TB with only 1.5TB available before putting anything on it. Attempting to open the folder in the drive causes finder to freeze and require and restart (finder). Had doubts about this drive prior to purchasing it due to LaCie being taken over by Seagate. Just verified that their interface just doesn't work. Had it two days. Returning it and will probably never buy another LaCie... really a failing Seagate company drive again.

I was expecting a fater writing speed, I have also had many bugs and problems cause the drive wasn't showing up in the finder. The design is really beautiful an I was expecting a fater writing speed, I have also had many bugs and problems cause the drive wasn't showing up in the finder. The design is really beautiful and the build quality is also good but a little fragile, it scratches really fast.
