I honestly think Apple doesn't make a durable cord so that they can make more money. I'm very disappointed and considering all of the other cell phone options now available I will be looking into them. I never had to purchase additional power cords with other branded phones. Very disappointed!

      Apple, do you care?

Wrap some ha Dear Apple, Do you know why I am on your website? No? It's ok, I'll tell you. I am ordering yet another cable. Why oh why is this still an issue? Wrap some hard cable, electrical, tape, heck-even some duct tape around those cables! You have the best and brightest creators but seriously, they aren't working on the cables. You can't promote the best phones and sell them with less than stellar cables. Well, I guess you can and you are....and people like me have to keep buying them. Yes, I know you say I can send them back if they are under warranty. I shouldn't have to! Please, I'm begging you....fix this!

Had to replace this cable multiple times in the past year.

These cables do not last long. They get frayed very easily and will be unsafe to use after a few months. Do not buy!

      Poor quality, frays easily

I keep having to replace these cables. They're expensive but badly made. Normally I love Apple products.

The OEM cables are one of the only ones that don’t short out after 2 weeks of use, however it’s inevitable that you’ll have to replace it every 6-8 months anyways. The Apple OEM chargers are designed specifically to keep you purchasing more. Great sales technique Apple. The outer coating around the wires split towards the end of the lightning port side of the cable, leaving exposed wires. If you’re going to sell absolute trash, at least don’t charge us $30 for it.
