works perfectly once I changed camera communication setting

I was ready to send the adapter back, because I really need it for the EOS, my main camera- I am going to England this summer and am only taking my iPad Mini, not my laptop, so have to have some way to back up photos (losing photos due to a lost/damaged card, camera, etc would be beyond tragic) Then I read the review that suggested going to the camera's menu and changing the Communication setting from Normal to PTP. Tada!! Success - the pictures loaded right up, I am very happy, and the adapter does not have to go back to Apple.

Connected to iPad and iPhone and neither worked. Got message that there was not enough power. Tried all setting fixes suggested in reviews and still no luck. Works as advertised.

Just got his adapter yesterday for my iPad Pro 10.5 and it works perfectly. I’m running iOS 10.3.2 and I’ve had no issues like others have mentioned. Photos app Just got his adapter yesterday for my iPad Pro 10.5 and it works perfectly. I’m running iOS 10.3.2 and I’ve had no issues like others have mentioned. Photos app pops up not too long after you plug it in, pick the images you want to impor, and it does the job. Imported about 1200 high res images in about 3 minutes or so.

      DOES NOT WORK WITH GOPRO

'Requires to much power' message is displayed when connecting GoPro to iPad so is completely useless.
