Don't listen to the haters....This is a fantastic "keyboard"

Love at first use. This keyboard is amazing. Yes, it does only cover the front, but so what. Yes, there is no holder for the pencil, but, so what. Yes, the Love at first use. This keyboard is amazing. Yes, it does only cover the front, but so what. Yes, there is no holder for the pencil, but, so what. Yes, there may be some functionality glitches, but again, so what. This Smart "KEYBOARD" for iPad Pro rocks. Apple only promised us a keyboard, and that's what this is. The whiners probably shake their birthday cards for money before they read them, so sad. This is by far the best peripheral keyboard I've ever used in terms of feel and accuracy. Oh, and the feel/look of the materials/design is far from cheap, as mentioned in some other reviews. They nailed it, AGAIN!! Thanks Apple. Bottom Line - Drop the coin and don't look back. This keyboard will transform your iPad Pro into a monster of mayhem.(in a good way). Cheers!!

I make virtually no typing errors on it, and it's proximity to the display makes the combination of a keyboard and the touch screen really work. With my other iPads, I used several aftermarket keyboards and typically abandoned them in a short time. I love this one, and hope that the shortcomings will be resolved soon in software.

      Best keyboard experience

The keyboard might seem a bit on the higher end when it comes to the price, but then it is a pleasure to use. Based on my past experience with Logitech keyboard The keyboard might seem a bit on the higher end when it comes to the price, but then it is a pleasure to use. Based on my past experience with Logitech keyboards, I was a bit sceptical in using a keyboard at first but so far have not been disappointed. The quality is excellent, the keyboard works and integrates well with the iPadPro. Some people might want a trackpad - but given it is an iPad, you really do not need any. I recommend to get an Apple Pencil as well.

      nice typing experience, not reliable

I get the inexplicable "this accessory is not supported error" randomly, and now it seems to be just dying. Connection started to get spotty 3-4 months ago and getting progressively worse, have to re-seat it multiple times, tried wiping the connectors, just failing to the point where it's unusable. This with very light use as well, quite disappointing. This and warranty is provided as an accessory (12 months coverage) not via Apple Care, even more irritating. I'll be looking elsewhere for a replacement.

I’ve cal I loved this keyboard then all of a sudden I started getting a message “Accessory Not Supported By This Device” How can that be Apple made this device. I’ve called Apple 5 times and they pretend they never seen this before. We try the hard reboot but nothing works. Now I see there are many others having the same issue. I’m sure not going to fork out $130 for a new one. I wish Apple would stand behind their product and recognize they have a product defect. It’s such as shame and now I stuck.

Good Keyboard - bogus support re: switching to IOS for missing functions

Lacks backlighting however. Magnets work better than the Apple cover. Pairs well with the Tech21 hard back protector. It does not work like a Mac keyboards, so don't be misled. The instructions "Switch from your SMART Keyboard etc" are wrong. For a start you only get a partial IOS keyboard bar. Showing the text/spelling choices or username/password options. There is no down v on the keyboard, it is actually the 'globe/world' key you use to 'toggle' this onscreen bar. When you first use it it gives you a keyboard choice dropdown. After selecting the keyboard (usually the language of choice) you want from a pop up menu the emoji screen remains. If you press the keyboard symbol (bottom right) it will toggle off immediately. You have to press the 'ABC'. It will disappear, but whenever you normally have the option bar in IOS it will appear again. To cancel the bar when it pops up press the down v in the right hand corner. You may have to re-toggle to get it to work again. Apple need to train their support staff about this. I spent a wasted hour going through it with two of them!!! They hadn't even seen the keyboard!
