Magic Mouse 2 is completely rechargeable, so you’ll eliminate the use of traditional batteries. It’s lighter, has fewer moving parts thanks to its built-in battery and continuous bottom shell, and has an optimized foot design — all helping Magic Mouse 2 track easier and move with less resistance across your desk. And the Multi-Touch surface allows you to perform simple gestures such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents. Magic Mouse 2 is ready to go right out of the box and pairs automatically with your Mac.

      Who are these people?

Is someone paying irrational, cantankerous antagonists to write one-star reviews? Anything they don't love is automatically "the worst thing ever!" All of these Is someone paying irrational, cantankerous antagonists to write one-star reviews? Anything they don't love is automatically "the worst thing ever!" All of these extremely low reviews are incredible... as in "not even remotely credible." This mouse looks and feels like the last one - only a little lighter. Ergonomics, weight, appearance, functionality... all great things, and all much better than your average third-party product. The mouse plugs in to charge... and this is somehow horrible? Upside-down is a bit weird and you don't use it while it is charging. How does that make this a one-star product? Don't you ever sleep? Can't you remember to plug your mouse in overnight once a month? This is way better than having to change the batteries every two weeks. Do you gripe about your phone because you have to put it down once in a while to charge it? So it doesn't work with some of the older system software? Well in most cases, neither should you. How does that make this product abysmal? Your wrist hurts? That is not the mouse's fault. Operator error does not make a product atrocious any more than a drunk driver makes a a particular brand of car a hazard to drive. This mouse is a great product. An improvement over the already-good last version. Would I prefer a third party mouse over this one? No thanks. I'll give my five stars right here without apology.

      Absolutely HORRIBLE design

why in the TECHNICAL WORLD YOU COME FROM would you design a rechargeable product that doesn't allow you to continue to use it if it runs out of a charge?!?!? why in the TECHNICAL WORLD YOU COME FROM would you design a rechargeable product that doesn't allow you to continue to use it if it runs out of a charge?!?!? you could have designed it with the lightning connector in the front and or the back to allow it to charge and still be used as if it were a mouse with a cord. COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT DESIGN

      Poor Implementation of Rechargable

Unusable while charging is a real deal breaker.

      Good Try - Try Harder

I hope someone from R&D will read this, apparently. Mouse looks super cool, but is not workable. Using more than for 1,5-2 hours gives you pain. Charging function is interesting, with a hint for gay community. I use only apple devices, all of them, but this mouse is a failure. Please develop an ergonomic vertical mouse, smth like Anker - price it at 150 EUR and everyone will buy it anyway.

There's no consider This design is beautiful to observe. However, a sculpture is not its purpose. The ergonomic element, which is essential for mice, is absent. There's no consideration for how your fingers interact with the device. The sleek design is too slippery, and you cannot properly grip it. Worst of all, the tiny crevice between the upper shell that presses against the lower body to engage its functions continually pinches the skin on your fingers. Not that the pinch is painful or significant but worse, it's extraordinarily annoying. It also collects the oil off your skin, ewe. For the price, it should be superior to anything else. Apple fails on this one and should replace all of them to compensate for the inconvenience that they cause. Boo, hiss! I am waiting for the delivery of a better design that correlates to the premium charge for this product. Don't buy this mouse!

      Best Mouse I've Ever Used

Like so many other techie products, I never quite understand how so many have such crazy issues, where I am just plain in love with the product. The response for the mouse (and keyboard) is so accurate, it's transparent that it's wireless. The smooth, trackpad-like top surface is crazy fun, one of my top features. I use my iMac daily and have only found the need to charge the Magic Mouse 2, once. With 72% charge remaining on my second charge done several weeks ago. And the charging is so fast, you don't even realize it. It feels good in my hand and feels and looks like a quality product. Something we expect from Apple. I highly recommend the Magic Mouse 2 to everyone. Of course not everyone will feel the same, so we have options. :-)
