      Underwhelming

I really want to love USB-C -- it's such a versatile connector, truly a technical marvel -- but it's shameful that this cable only supports USB 2.0 data speeds I really want to love USB-C -- it's such a versatile connector, truly a technical marvel -- but it's shameful that this cable only supports USB 2.0 data speeds and that it's not included with the purchase of a USB-C charger.

      Solid Cable

This cable is solid. They redid the jacket of the cable so I suspect we will see a lot less pealing and fraying like old mag safe. The cable supports USB device This cable is solid. They redid the jacket of the cable so I suspect we will see a lot less pealing and fraying like old mag safe. The cable supports USB device and 100 Watt USB-C PD. This is huge for a 20 dollar cable. This cable is one of the few things apple priced lower than the value it delivers. The cable is also already the max length supported by USB-C PD.

Cable has strange "gunk" on it.

I bought this cable to charge my iPad Pro 11". My only concern is being able to charge the iPad but having a little more length. Data transfers aren't a concern I bought this cable to charge my iPad Pro 11". My only concern is being able to charge the iPad but having a little more length. Data transfers aren't a concern for me which seems to be the biggest complaint. What I have a problem with is the strange "gunk" that is on the cable. As I was unrolling it, my hands were getting some strange substance on them. I held a paper towel in my hand and pulled the cable through it and noticed a yellow substance was left behind. The cable is well made and durable which is important but this gunk has me a bit concerned. Plus it's just plain gross.

      Horrible charger cable

Here I go again! This is my third Apple charger cable for this MacBook. From the beginning it wouldn't stay hooked up if moved ever so slightly. Within a few mo Here I go again! This is my third Apple charger cable for this MacBook. From the beginning it wouldn't stay hooked up if moved ever so slightly. Within a few months it bends and is basically useless. This is not the quality I expect from Apple.
