EarPods with Lightning Connector

  • Overview

Unlike traditional, circular earbuds, the design of the EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other earbud-style headphones.

The speakers inside the EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.

The EarPods with Lightning Connector also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.

      A Significant Improvement

As an avid runner, I was dismayed when my bluetooth headphones failed to survive the washing machine and was left with the prospect of what to do until the AirPods came out. These more than fit the bill. My running playlist heavily features a great deal of twee music and these EarPods greatly reproduced the panoply of jangly guitars, whisper soft vocals, and benign snare drums. I threw Angel Olsen's new album at them next (lots of earthy, meandering folk intermixed with a few pop tracks) and they more than performed. They sound better than both the 3.5mm EarPods and several high-end bluetooth headphones I've owned. These are a steal for what they're priced at. Am I upset that they won't plug into my Macbook Air? A bit, but I'd still recommend these.

      Surprisingly Remastered Very Well!!!!!!

I had a feeling these new lighting EarPods were going to be good. They have a surprisingly punchy sound to them, great vocals and clarity. The bass is good to. And for the price these are seriously worth buying, highly recommend giving these a chance.

      Really disappointed and not pleased

No words are enough to explain how displeased I am. With previous earbuds I never seemed to care so much about them, so I didn’t take great care of them. When t No words are enough to explain how displeased I am. With previous earbuds I never seemed to care so much about them, so I didn’t take great care of them. When they stopped working I blamed myself which seemed like a very valid reason right? But this time I did my upmost best to taking care of these earpods. Since it wasn’t the headphone jack anymore and seeing that if I broke these I’d have to pay $29 for a new pair, I was not taking any chances with spending money where it wasn’t needed. These worked out great for 9 months and I’ve always properly put them away. Just two days ago they were working just fine like any other day. Before I got home from school I put them into the side pocket of my bag; later on, when I grabbed them out to listen to music, I was met with silence on my left and music on the right. It was the most unsatisfying feeling and I still don’t know what to do. Reading other reviews on here has made me really disappointed in Apple. Care to put some quality into your earpods and figuring out ways to improve them so they can actually last? Thanks.

      Terrible Quality; Not Worth It

This is my first time writing a product review and I never thought I would write one, but this is getting out of hand. If there were a way to give this product This is my first time writing a product review and I never thought I would write one, but this is getting out of hand. If there were a way to give this product 0 stars, I would. I've gone through about 3 pairs of these headphones since I got the Iphone 7 around April and they simply do not work. They seem to go through a pattern. They work fantastically for a few weeks or so and the quality of sound could not be any better. But then the +/- and pause buttons on them stop working and a few weeks after that, one side will stop working all together. Soon after, the headphones will finally break. In the meantime, you can expect them to randomly play and pause songs, activate Siri for no reason, and make random calls at no prompt. At first I thought it was something I was doing wrong and that this wasn't Apple's fault, especially as the 3.5mm jack headphones had worked brilliantly for me. My last pair of headphones lasted only a month and I almost had a mental breakdown trying to figure out what I was doing wrong, because I couldn't believe I had to pay $29 again and was afraid I would be doing so every month from now on. Thankfully, I checked the reviews of this product before buying it again and it seems that the problem does seem to be with Apple and not me. It appears that Apple has put out a subpar product because they knew they could get away with it, as people would see their only options as these or much, much more expensive wireless headphones. However, you can find wireless headphones for only a few dollars more on Amazon that have almost a perfect 5-star rating and seem to work much better than these headphones that I will be purchasing instead of these headphones right now. If Apple would improve this product and actually make it work as well and last as long as their 3.5 mm jack headphones, I would consider buying these headphones again, as I've used wireless headphones in the past and do not particularly like the feel of them. I doubt this will happen anytime soon, though, as Apple will continue to get away with creating subpar products as long as people think its their only option. In the meantime, I am going to use wireless headphones and will continue to express my dislike for this product to everyone I possibly can.
