EarPods with Lightning Connector

  • Overview

Unlike traditional, circular earbuds, the design of the EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other earbud-style headphones.

The speakers inside the EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.

The EarPods with Lightning Connector also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.

      A Significant Improvement

As an avid runner, I was dismayed when my bluetooth headphones failed to survive the washing machine and was left with the prospect of what to do until the AirPods came out. These more than fit the bill. My running playlist heavily features a great deal of twee music and these EarPods greatly reproduced the panoply of jangly guitars, whisper soft vocals, and benign snare drums. I threw Angel Olsen's new album at them next (lots of earthy, meandering folk intermixed with a few pop tracks) and they more than performed. They sound better than both the 3.5mm EarPods and several high-end bluetooth headphones I've owned. These are a steal for what they're priced at. Am I upset that they won't plug into my Macbook Air? A bit, but I'd still recommend these.

      Surprisingly Remastered Very Well!!!!!!

I had a feeling these new lighting EarPods were going to be good. They have a surprisingly punchy sound to them, great vocals and clarity. The bass is good to. And for the price these are seriously worth buying, highly recommend giving these a chance.

      Super inconvenient!

How can I tell you how much I hate this design decision? With the items that Apple includes with your new iPhone, you cannot charge your phone and listen to the earbuds at the same time. You have to buy an aftermarket adapter. Apple is wrong for that! This isn’t keeping with Steve Jobs’s vision of keeping it “so simple my mother could use it”. Another problem of this design is, if you plug in a charger after you’ve connected to a Bluetooth device, you get instantly disconnected and have to reconn for your Bluetooth. A third problem is—similar to the last one—if you are listening to a song and open an app that has the ability to play audio (even if you aren’t using its audio at the time) the earbuds shut off and the sound comes through the phones speakers at high volume! VERY, VERY inconvenient when you are in an environment which requires you to stay quiet and listen through your earbuds (library, public transit, near a sleeping child, etc.). Yes, I’m VERY displeased with this hardware change. I have the iPhone 8 Plus and this is the one feature that I just simply HATE the most. As they say, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. I hope they change it back in future iPhone iterations.

This product either stops working by stopping my music involunterarily OR one earbud stops working. i dont recommend for a durable headphone use, only if youre looking for a quix fix appose to airpods
