At some points on the plane, I am very cautious of those around me because I am nervous that they may hear my music "blasting" so to say. Secondly, the ear cushions are not nearly as comfortable as I thought. It is cool to be able to wear the beats logo and everything, but it may not be worth it considering that after listening to music for about 30 minutes I have to massage my ears and let them have some air before I can go back to listening. Watching movies is a pain when I have to do that every few minutes or so and that is why I give the beats solo 3's a generous and solid rating of four stars.

Best headphones I’ve ever used period!

And althoug I’ve tried countless top brand head phones, for phones and consoles. Until I used beats solo 3s my favorite was the turtle beach x12 then the px3s. And although I’m still in love with turtle beach, especially since they aren’t brand specific. Beats has become my #1 favorite headphones period. all I own is apple products. So the versatility isn’t a problem. I love how they charge 3hrs for every 5mins too. Love them! The sound is unparalleled. It’s like your favorite cup of coffee on a calm morning or like the first time you used turtle beach on a Xbox after using cheap 20$ junk ones from the super center. I obviously highly recommend them. They’re worth the money, especially if you love to listen to music all the time on your iPod or iPhone or love watching movies on your Mac or iPad. ****

      Carrying case

The only problem I have with these is the carrying case the zipper broke off today. But that’s the only problem the sound is amazing overall.

Worst headphones I've ever had (and I had a few).

Got those for free when I purchased a Macbook in an Apple Store. I never had Beats before so I was excited to finally try them out. Comparing to my Bose QuietCo Got those for free when I purchased a Macbook in an Apple Store. I never had Beats before so I was excited to finally try them out. Comparing to my Bose QuietComfort, Beats are garbage. This is the worst audio performance I've ever experienced and I did test a lot of different headphones. I don't understand why these are so expensive and popular considering this low quality of sound. Sadly, there is no app or settings that allow you to change the EQ. Another thing is that while I was giving those a chance, my head and ears started hurting because of the poor design. It started hurting after 30 minutes so I wonder what kind of pain people have to be in just to have the B logo on their heads. Again, don't spend your money on badly designed headphones that don't even let you enjoy your music.
