      Shattered remote

My remote dropped on the floor and shattered, and is so small I have to be careful with it around my baby. Fix the remote so it doesn't shatter when dropped an My remote dropped on the floor and shattered, and is so small I have to be careful with it around my baby. Fix the remote so it doesn't shatter when dropped and also so it isn't so small that it gets lost. Also make the replacement cost reasonable, the only people buying replacement remotes are people who have broken their remotes already. So maybe don't try and make a large profit on the replacement remotes.

It's really lightweight and feels good. I've never had amy problems with it not connecting/getting disconnected. I've drop it from roughly 3-4 ft. many times and it has yet to shatter (p.s. it has no case). If it wasn't so small and easy to lose, I would give it 5 stars (It's not 3 stars because they brought the price down from $79.00 to $59.00, so I gave it 1 more star).

      Very bad

This remote is horrible. Its response to input on the touchpad is erratic and unpredictable. As a result, it's very frustrating to use.

The Siri Remote is so bad I can't believe Apple made it

I've tried adjusting the sensitivity, but in the end it is just a real pain in the butter to use. My wife is refusing to have us purchase a new AppleTV 4th gen (to replace a sometimes whacky 2nd gen AppleTV) because she can't stand to use the remote that will come with it. I've been a more or less happy Apple customer since 1987, with many desktops, a few laptops, some iPods/touches/iPhones, and the odd iPad or two. Apple doesn't always hit homeruns, but things generally *work*. I thought I must be "holding it wrong" when the Siri Remote proved to be so painful to use, but after research/review/practice I've decided that it is just a bad design. As others have suggested, it seems like whoever put this into production didn't use it the same way that I/many others do. I'm waiting for Apple to release a new style remote and take away the agony of using this one, but I suspect it will never happen.

Stressful + erratic. Please design for adults!

For instance, I cannot get Siri to get me to YouTube TV “specific station” no matter how I word the request. I wish Apple would have a second layer of input on devices beyond what a very young user likes. I’ve been using this remote for four months and it hasn’t gotten easier which adds stress to the limited “down time” I should be enjoying. My phone option as a remote is equally stupid.
