      Shattered remote

My remote dropped on the floor and shattered, and is so small I have to be careful with it around my baby. Fix the remote so it doesn't shatter when dropped an My remote dropped on the floor and shattered, and is so small I have to be careful with it around my baby. Fix the remote so it doesn't shatter when dropped and also so it isn't so small that it gets lost. Also make the replacement cost reasonable, the only people buying replacement remotes are people who have broken their remotes already. So maybe don't try and make a large profit on the replacement remotes.

      Decent buy

It's really lightweight and feels good. I've never had amy problems with it not connecting/getting disconnected. I've drop it from roughly 3-4 ft. many times and it has yet to shatter (p.s. it has no case). If it wasn't so small and easy to lose, I would give it 5 stars (It's not 3 stars because they brought the price down from $79.00 to $59.00, so I gave it 1 more star).

      Hunk of Junk

I got an Apple TV 4K for free through a promotion and decided to give it a go. Let me begin by saying that I'm an Apple fan. I have an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch I got an Apple TV 4K for free through a promotion and decided to give it a go. Let me begin by saying that I'm an Apple fan. I have an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, iMac, and MacBook. The Apple TV was the only thing that I didn't have. The remote has a little touch pad on it that is suppose to be easier to use than buttons, but that would be wrong. It's actually incredibly frustrating to use. The cursor flies around on the screen and never goes where I want it to go. To make matters worse, the remote is so thin that I worry about dropping it when I pick it up. It's not very comfortable to hold because it's so thin. It does have volume controls for your TV or sound device, but it works using the HDMI cable that connects the TV to the sound device. This again proves to fail 80% of the time. It also drives me nuts that there's no power button on the remote. If I haven't made my point yet, this remote is a piece of s**t that should have never been released. In my opinion, it was made from engineers that thought it would be cool but actually terrible to use in reality. Go out and buy a Logitech Harmony remote or some other universal remote to use with the Apple TV. This one's a hunk of junk.

Worst design of any Apple product I’ve ever used.

Ludicrously bad. Either unresponsive or overly-sensitive, depending on context. Constantly demands multiple attempts to get trackpad gestures to work; pressing Ludicrously bad. Either unresponsive or overly-sensitive, depending on context. Constantly demands multiple attempts to get trackpad gestures to work; pressing it left or right inevitably yields at best a 50-50 chance you’ll get the expected result. Knew it was horrible within the first hour of usIng it. How could anything this awful be allowed to be sold? Did Apple really not know or just not care? You lose, either way. If I had it to do over again, I would not buy the Apple TV because of this remote. I paid far too much for a compromised user experience and won’t make the same mistake in the future... seems like Apple products now demand a level of scrutiny I never thought was necessary before.

Flawed design and poor material choice

Sure it looks cool... new... not a great materials selection for glass on a remote control. Big design flaw. But hey, I dropped it, it broke, i own it
