      Shattered remote

My remote dropped on the floor and shattered, and is so small I have to be careful with it around my baby. Fix the remote so it doesn't shatter when dropped an My remote dropped on the floor and shattered, and is so small I have to be careful with it around my baby. Fix the remote so it doesn't shatter when dropped and also so it isn't so small that it gets lost. Also make the replacement cost reasonable, the only people buying replacement remotes are people who have broken their remotes already. So maybe don't try and make a large profit on the replacement remotes.

It's really lightweight and feels good. I've never had amy problems with it not connecting/getting disconnected. I've drop it from roughly 3-4 ft. many times and it has yet to shatter (p.s. it has no case). If it wasn't so small and easy to lose, I would give it 5 stars (It's not 3 stars because they brought the price down from $79.00 to $59.00, so I gave it 1 more star).

It's the worst remote I've ever used to control anything. The trackpad is so sensitive and constantly registers the wrong commands, or over exaggerated the command such as with scrolling. If it even touches the sofa the wrong way, it will change apps or pause the show or something else unwanted. It is not user friendly in any way. While I have no problems with the Apple TV itself, I will most definitely be searching for an alternative remote to use. For any new purchasers, please take the remote into consideration before moving forward.

Needs to do only what it's told

A lot left to be desired

Swiping the touch pad is nice for scrolling though content, but controlling media with it is problematic. Why not build a more standard remote? The touch pad is Swiping the touch pad is nice for scrolling though content, but controlling media with it is problematic. Why not build a more standard remote? The touch pad is too sensitive. I'll barely swipe and it'll scroll multiple rows. It's too easy to accidentally do something like change the channel or stop the show with how large the touch pad is. Having to hold the edge of the touch pad to fast forward or rewind is a pain and I will sometimes have to hold it for a long time if a show didn't resume from where I left it. Plus there's only one forward/rewind speed. Pausing and swiping the touch pad to forward/rewind isn't intuitive. I should be able to click for different speeds and simply play when I click the play button when I find my position. It's cool that I can turn on the TV using the TV/Home button, but there's no way to control the input, so I end up having to use my other remote to change the input and therefore making the TV turn on feature only worth it if Apple TV was the only input I used. The Apple TV would be a much better product if the Siri Remote were more like the Amazon Fire TV Alexa remote that is much simpler to use.
