      These cables are terrible

These break just as easy as the cheap flea market ones. I’m always praising Apples products to all my friends. These cables are an embarrassment.

Please fix your trashy chargers . I am now ordering my fourth charger since December. RIDICULOUS. With all the money apple is making, your customers shouldn't be replacing their chargers every few months . I never had this problem with my Samsung phone.

Had insurance, wouldn't replace the cheapmade to fail charger cable!

The charger cable blinks on and off along with the lovely melody of ding (off), ding (back on), ding, ding ding! That goes on for 5 minutes every time I plug it The charger cable blinks on and off along with the lovely melody of ding (off), ding (back on), ding, ding ding! That goes on for 5 minutes every time I plug it in. I have to bend it and move it till it connects and begins charging. I'd been adjusting the cord and found its sweet spot (before the rep came over) so they said they couldn't replace it and just dismissed me. So the dinging continues until it stops working altogether. Such a low, way to scam an extra $20 off every buyer. They make them to fail so they get a real windfall of the repurchases. Imagine how many replacements they sell!

      Don’t buy

I have owned 3 or 4 of these and they always break within the first month. The rubber splits at the point of connection, creating a short every time. It keeps discharging when I charge

I got this charger cord in June and roughly a month into buying it the charger started to malfunction, it keeps discharging when I plugged in especially when I I got this charger cord in June and roughly a month into buying it the charger started to malfunction, it keeps discharging when I plugged in especially when I charge with my MacBook, if I had know I would have just gotten the ones off eBay that cost even less, at least I would know it’s my fault but after getting the original from the Apple website here in America ,I regret wasting my $20. Y’all should get it right with these cords. The reason I bought this was cause my old one started to open at the charging point like it was expanding and the plastic couldn’t handle it so it started making lines around each side of the charging point.
