  • Overview

A modern interpretation of a design developed in Milan at the end of the 19th century. Woven on specialized Italian machines, the smooth stainless steel mesh wraps fluidly around your wrist. And because it’s fully magnetic, the Milanese Loop is infinitely adjustable, ensuring a perfect fit. An additional physical vapor deposition (PVD) layer gives the gold stainless steel its distinctive finish.

      Milanese loop is faulty

Just purchased new 40mm stainless with gold milanese loop. The band falls out of the bracket that slides on watch causing the watch to fall. My 38mm watch with Just purchased new 40mm stainless with gold milanese loop. The band falls out of the bracket that slides on watch causing the watch to fall. My 38mm watch with the same type of band does not. The magnet end can't come out. This new one does and is a very dangerous flaw in design. I don't want my watch to keep falling every time I take it off.

Love it! Slightly Different from Previous Milanese Loop Bands

I've had the silver Milanese loop since the first Apple Watch was released. Just upgraded to the series 4 gold with gold Milanese loop band. The color is more o I've had the silver Milanese loop since the first Apple Watch was released. Just upgraded to the series 4 gold with gold Milanese loop band. The color is more of a rose gold / copper, rather than a traditional gold, which I love because it is less flashy and more subtle. It's the best looking watch band I've had, and the magnetic clasp is surprisingly effective at holding the watch snug. I thought I'd have to re-tighten the band frequently throughout the day, but I don't. On rare occasions, if doing something that involves a lot of arm motion (like an aerobic workout), it might need a slight readjustment to put it back to the desired tightness. One key difference between the old and new Milanese loops is that, when the magnetic clasp is unattached, the strap can be pulled completely out of the opposite side. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is likely so that the watch can be laid flat on a charging mat without needing to remove the band completely. The downside to this convenience is that you want to be a little careful when completely opening the magnetic clasp so that your watch doesn't fall completely off your wrist. It's unlikely to happen even when unattached, but for those who have had the previous Milanese loops, you'll not want to be too cavalier about pulling the watch off your hand.

      Poor quality...go with Amazon

I have a lot of Apple brand loyalty but this product is not up to their standards. After just a couple months, it looks terrible...gold has started wearing off. I have a lot of Apple brand loyalty but this product is not up to their standards. After just a couple months, it looks terrible...gold has started wearing off. You’re much better off going with a less expensive version on Amazon and replacing it when it gets beaten up. Apple also isn’t willing to help in any way once the band looks worn.

      Unloop?!

One of the things Ive always loved about the Milanese band is that it never unloops. Of course I learned this the hard way when my watch dropped day 1....

      Do not buy this band!

Fast forward 4 months of daily wear later (NEVER getting wet) and the finish has worn off in random spots all over the band. It even leaves a residue on my wrist if I wear the watch for multiple days without taking it off. I am so incredibly disappointed by the poor craftsmanship of this band and it is obscene to me that it carried a price tag of $150. Save yourself the heartache and trouble and go with a leather or sport band instead. Better yet, don't even buy the apple branded bands, buy them through a 3rd party. Nothing can be of poorer quality than what I am stuck with!
