The Smart Keyboard Folio for the 11-inch iPad Pro is a full-size keyboard when you need it to be, provides elegant front and back protection when you don’t, and allows for convenient viewing angles. And with no charging or pairing required, just attach the keyboard and start typing.

For the reviewer who said there is no place for Apple Pencil it is magnetized and it attaches to the side of the iPad and that will also charge it.

I love that this new keyboard folio adds back protection. This is something I've wanted Apple to bring back to their iPad case line since the 9.7" Pro. I am very worried about the keys scratching the screen up, but I'm trying to remain calm.

      Good Feel. Big keys.

I wish Apple would make these “smart” keyboards with backlit keys for times when you are typing in low light situations. I knew this about the keyboard before I bought it, just hope that Apple reads these reviews and gives it some thought. Pros: 1. While the keys feel a bit spongy (not as crisp as the Apple Magic Keyboard), overall I would say it works nicely. Keystrokes are positive and true. 2. I like that the keyboard doesn’t require separate charging. 3. The stand, which has 2 slots for positioning the iPad Pro, has strong magnetic to hold the iPad in the stand and for securing it when closed. 4. Keyboard does put the iPad to sleep when closed Cons: 1. A little pricey 2. A lack of backlit keys (I know, neither does the Magic keyboard), but it would be a nice feature. 3. While my hands are clean when I use the keyboard, I notice that the iPad screen gets ‘smudged’ by the keyboard when closed.

Great, but with this newest version iPad shakes??

Lamented that the original 12” set up - with the full cover that detached from the keyboard, was discontinued, but was a big user and fan of the new keyboard that came up with the 10.5 inch, which I have used avidly since 2017. Recently upgraded to the 11”. I love these keyboards and find them easier to type on than any MacBook keyboard I have, especially the new “butterfly” generation. So now that I have now my 3rd keyboard folio, I am all but shocked to see that THE IPAD SHAKES WHEN I TOUCH IT WITH THIS KEYBOARD!!! Has anybody else experienced this? It has totally detracted from the experience of the folio from the first moments of using it. Basically, when I reach for the screen with the iPad in either position, and tap at all, the entire iPad shakes. It’s like the back support of this case is too flimsily designed. Makes me feel like if I go to an expensive restaurant and sit down and the table wobbles because the legs are not balanced. This is a huge annoyance and I am not sure if this is something I can get used, and frankly I shouldn’t have to! I have combed the web for alternatives to Apple’s folios, even bought and tested Logitech and Brydge and ultimately deemed the Apple the best. This is an amazing disappointment. I hope they will fix this I’d pay another $170, as unreasonable as that is, to get the original Apple keyboard folio experience back. I am curious, anybody else finding this as annoying as me?

My first Keypad Folio Case got a bubble on the back that popped (best way to describe was like a pizza bubble) and now my second one has busted at the seems. It is a shame we pay $180 for a keypad that cant withstand a back pack (in the laptop compartment) and just hand carrying. Only Pro is the keypad works well.
