Can I use my iPhone 5 lightning charger to charge my Macbook Pro (It has lightning ports)?

  • I'm not sure what you meant when you said your Macbook Pro has lightning ports, but on Apple computers there are only Thunderbolt ports and USB-C (which look like a lightning port). So the answer would be no. If you look at the compatibility section of the lightning port, it does not list the Macbook as being one of the compatible product you can use the cable with.
