Does this cable support data transfer in Target Disk Mode between computers?
The previous version of the cable that was more expensive didn't support the MacBook (12" Retina) in Target Disk Mode. Does this newer and cheaper one do it?

Answer
This cable is not fast enough for Target Disk Mode. Target Disk Mode requires USB 3 or USB 3.1 speeds according to HT201462 and this cable only operates at USB 2 speeds according to HT204360.
