iPad Air/. What replaces Flash Player

On webpages there are some web browsers that use a 3rd party intermediary to convert (not always successfully) flash into a viewable format (There are many apps that attempt to do this).
Most web pages that use Flash however - Now support using HTML5 instead: which does pretty much everything flash can do, right from within your normal safari or chrome browser on your iPad (no extra add-ons or apps needed).
YouTube is a big example, use to be all Flash for Video's, now you can choose on desktops and it auto-selects HTML5 on flash-less devices that support HTML5,
