Do I need 64 GB if I have ICloud?

  • Depends! Are you just planning to get iTunes music & videos, and iBooks stuff? If so, you can keep it in the iCloud for free -- but you need access to WiFi to download them for use. And if you're planning to download a ton of Apps and keep them available for use all the time, and store a ton of your own pdf's in iBooks, or get iWorks and create and save documents and spreadsheets on the device for access in the absence of WiFi, then maybe you need extra storage. And iCloud only gives you 5 Gigabytes of document storage for free (music and video and books from iTunes are unlimited free in iCloud). Figure out how much storage you need in addition to the iTunes stuff, and how many times you might want to download from iCloud when WiGi is unavailable, and then decide based on your own anticipated usage. and then decide for yourself.
