All-flash storage drive upgrade

I see that the 13" MacBook Air is currently only shipping with a 128GB drive. If I but this, can I upgrade with more flash memory in the future?

There are some after-market storage upgrades for the MacBook Air (at least the previous 2011 model), but they are very expensive and will most likely void your warranty. Best to buy it with the amount of storage you want rather than hoping you can upgrade later.

  • Check the new model, not only has it got a vastly improved processor but is now offered with a 256GB model, hope this helps if not too late!

  • No, you cannot upgrade the flash, although I see that they are making some with 256GB, Go for that one if you can. I have the 13inch Macbook Pro with retina with 256GB and I absolutely love it........
