FSX or PMDG-Upgrading to MacBook Pro 15" 2.2GHz:need to run FSX + Acceleration or PMDG 737NGX in Windows partition-will it work?

New to all of this but I need to run some flight simulation software for hubby's business purposes. I was unsuccessful at getting his 06 MacBook/Windows XP partition to run FSX + Acceleration and/or PMDG 737NGX. I now know what's needed but would like to be sure that the new MacBook Pro 15" 2.2GHz will work. I don't want to use two separate laptops and since he wants to upgrade to the MBPro I am hoping I can "kill two birds with one stone". We also don't want to spend $2K+ and not be able to run these graphics.

I have the Late 2009 17inch Macbook Pro with 3.06ghz dual core with 4 gigs of ram and a 7200 rpm drive, and 512mb video that ran FSX with pmdg 747 and HIGH settings just fine! I did turn down autogen and do other tweaks to get it right. Right now I'm typing on my new 17inch 2012 model, with 2.4ghz quad core that turbo boost 2.0 to 3.6 or so. It also has 8gigs of ram(came with 4, i upped it later) and 1gig of video ram. I have yet to install Windows 7 64 bit due to the fact that i got a samsung 830 128gb in the mail. Should be hear by saterday and I'm looking forward to loading up bootcamp and seeing FSX scream. I know it will rock out with its socks out just fine. Have NO FEAR, it will do just fine.
