Macbook air Graphics or Processor?

I'm looking to buy a 128gb 13" macbook air for college. There's one through my school's bookstore and one through the apple store. These are the specs for each, is there a difference? which is better? Why is there a difference in the graphics and processor?

By the way the bookstore one is $100 cheaper

  • Hi,

The Apple store as the latest model, it has a much longer battery life than the older model, also, you get a better graphic card and processor. Do not get fool by the processor speed, its a lot more technical than just a speed in Mhz.

Basically, the Apple model is a newer but also a better computing machine, plus you get a longer battery life, average of 12 hours instead of 7, don't forget, its an average, so, if you have your MacBook Air connected to your school network the battery will not last as advertise, maybe 9 to 10 hours with the newer model and 4 to 5 with the older one.

    Hope this was helpfull.

  • The one on the apple store should be better, its newer. The bookstore probably hasn't gotten the new inventory. The bookstore one might have a better processor, better ghz but its probably the 3rd generation while the apple store is 4th.
