Scroll Lock is F14 on the Apple Extended Keyboard

  • Running a VM environment, I was working with an excel spreadsheet that someone sent me that had the scroll lock on. I was running windows in the VM environment on my Mac that didn't have the F14 key. I did not have the keyboard on the task bar.

I clicked the windows icon, searched keyboard and a keyboard display popped up on my screen. It was a key board where you could type with your mouse pointer. The Scroll lock was on-I was able to click it off

  • If F14 exists, but no "Fn" button. Pressing F14 won't work. Try "shift F14".

  • Yes there is. I found it accidently while working in Excel (while using Parallels & Windows) on my Mac: There should be a picture of a keyboard in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Click on it-then on the scroll lock feature to either turn it on or off.
If using Numbers on Mac. Keyboard shortcuts are located within the "help" section on the toolbar.

  • on macbook pro running windows with only 12 F keys it is

    SHIFT+FN+F12
