The USB adapter that came with your iPhone provides the bare minimum of power needed to charge your iPhone. This car charger will charge your iPhone just as well, or maybe a little faster, than the adapter that came with your iPhone. This car charger is designed to charge all iOS devices, but your 1A USB adapter is designed for iPhones only. Please select "Yes" to the right of this answer if this helped you.
