    Unpleasant over time

    The keyboard does what it claims to do, but I found that with time it became increasingly uncomfortable to use. I've never had keyboard-related hand/wrist pain but have had to go back to typing on my MacBook multiple times because it was too painful to use the logitech keyboard.

    Unfortunately the return policy means I'm stuck with it because it's been ~6 months since my original purchase. This means I'll now purchase the more expensive Apple keyboard that I should have bought in the first place.

    Been through 3 of these in the last 7 years.

    Great idea to have something that does not require charging or batteries. Even in my office, which has no windows and all the lights off when I'm not in the room, I have never had issues with lack of light. Typing feels good and has slightly more action than the standard Apple keyboards for desktop, types quiet and is not a "clicky" device.

    However, these do not last. Over the last 7 years I have exchanged 2 of them for replacement, which Logitech provided for free. Today, my third one went out on me. The support team has told me that this keyboard has a known defect that causes failure. Given this, it surprises me they are still making these. I would recommend spending twice as much for the Apple wireless, which is what I'm about to do because I'm tired of creating support tickets on the Logitech website.

    Logitech solar keyboard

    I have had this keyboard for about 6 months, its horrible and disconnects all the time. Its not a battery issue as the battery is fully charged. However if you disconnect the dongle and reconnect, it may work again for the day. I have officially switched to the apple magic keyboard, nothing beats the MAC products.

    Good Until It Dies

    I loved the concept of this keyboard and enjoyed using it. I bought it 11/11/2017 and it totally died 10/15/2018. Logitech told me the limited warranty period expired and gave me trouble shooting instructions all of which I had already tried. So annoying. But knowing it was shot anyway (it would not charge), I decided to change the internal battery. That worked for about a week and 1/2. It is a beautiful looking keyboard and works perfectly until it simply stops performing at all with no advance warning. Since it is relatively expensive, I would not recommend purchasing until they have ironed out all the bugs.

    Just doesn’t work

    I have tried 2 of these keyboards on my iMac and they just won't work properly. I like the keyboard and the price is right, but the Solar App will say my keyboard is 100% charged and then it will show red pressing the keyboards solar button. I give up.

    Battery died - not replaceable

    As long as it worked, it was amazing. But when the battery died, I had a very hard time finding the battery replacement - and guess what, battery is NOT replaceable? So how is one supposed to charge it? With voodoo magic? Come on Logitech. Yet another beautiful product ruined by battery. I am giving it two stars because I wrote 2 books using it. I will miss it. I wish it had a longer lasting battery and might I add, a replaceable one!

    Was a great keyboard, until High Sierra killed it

    Logitech has refused to update the Unifying receiver software for High Sierra compatibility. My K750 had been working great prior to that, but then started experiencing repeated bouts of laggy input. I then made the mistake of unpairing the keyboard in an attempt to re-pair it. Now it refuses to pair at all, so now the keyboard is an expensive paperweight.

    (Apple shares some of this blame, since something apparently changed in High Sierra to introduce this incompatibility, so Logitech's not totally at fault)

    K750 Display App Not Working in OSX 10.13

    With the latest upgrade to the Mac OSX the app that displays the battery charge and light available to the solar panel no longer works.

    When reported to Logitech the replay was

    "We have checked the details regarding the Solar app and as per checking the app is no longer supported in Mac OSX 10.13.
    We will check for updates first if there's a possible update for the Solar app but for now the app is not yet compatible with the Mac OSX 10.13. "

    In my view and inadequate reply for a product sold on the Apple web site. It should have been tested with the new release of OSX and the app updated as needed.

    Otherwise a good product (the keyboard continues to work) and it would have received 5 stars prior to this last app incompatability.

    Lasted A Year

    Great keyboard BUT it only lasted a year and had to throw it away. Thought it would be awesome and environmentally friendly. Then as the other review stated the rechargeable battery lasted about about a year. Manual states that you must dispose of the keyboard when the battery dies. It won't work at all once battery goes and have to get rid of whole keyboard. Very wasteful and not environmentally friendly....Going back to my Apple corded keyboard that has lasted years.

    Keyboard has been nothing but trouble

    I love Logitech's products and have had keyboards from them before, but this one isn't ups to their usual standards. The first one I received wouldn't hold a charge. They replaced it and this second one has malfunctioned almost from the beginning. It also has trouble holding a charge and often there's a hesitation in typing--they keyboard is about 10 second behind my fingers. Sometimes it only types part of the word and sometimes it types gibberish.I use this keyboard for my work, so this isn't making me very happy or productive.

    A nice keyboard BUT!

    My home office is in the basement and despite being almost directly below a 48" two bulb fluorescent fixture, there is not enough light to charge the keyboard. It also requires a lot of desk space to provide for its solar cell array.

    Disappointing

    First, the keyboard does not look like an "Apple" product, and since it's made by Logitech that is not surprising. It's a bit clunky, and it's made of plastic instead of aluminum. It's big. The keyboard that came with my new iMac was too small (really want a number pad), and the Logitech, with the addition of the solar strip along the top, is pretty big. What finalized my decision to return it, however, is that there is a USB receiver that needs to be plugged into one of the four USB ports on the back of the computer. I don't always have enough USB ports as it is, and giving up one to a device I already had reservations about make it easy to box it back up and send it away. I think I'll try typing numbers without the number pad and see how that goes for a while.
