    Great sounding interface

I bought the Apogee One for my iphone to use for voice overs. My first thought while listening to music through the One, was that it's incredible detailed and this was only on playback folks! I then used the maestro application to set up the internal microphone to start recording voice overs and wow! The internal mic sounded incredible! I placed the One on the microphone stand adapter and on my mic stand so the One is pointing directly towards me. Very happy with this purchase, It will instantly make your audio sound better!

    Listen to music with this

I used the original Apogee ONE for recording, however when this guy came out, it became an essential tool for listening to music while traveling. It connects directly to my iPhone 6's lightning port and frankly makes my headphones sound 5x better than they ever did before. I get so spoiled with this sort of quality that now I can't listen without it!

Works great with Macbook. It hums with iOS device

If I plug this into a Mac it works great. I used it with MainStage 3. It would get five stars if I didn't have iOS devices.

With an iPhone 6P, there's a loud hum, even while using an instrument with hum buckers, even running all devices completely on batteries.

I tried recording a practice session with the built-in mic on an iPhone, and again there was a loud hum.

I'll try to make this device work, but so far it seems to be a Mac-only interface.

    It doesn`t turn on

I was working yesterday properly with my Apogee one, I really haven`t used it that much, so most of time it is inside of its box, with everything, it had the transparent plastic actually, well, i was using it yesterday and today I connected it to my macbook pro but the lights did not turn on, not even with its "black box electricity connector", it simply does not work, the only thing it does is, when I plug the usB cable slowly into the Apogee, I can see a quickly flash of the light of the icons, but once I have totally connected it doesn`t turn on, and it´s something no body expects, that the device just stops working one day.
