    Worth it

This cord is fantastic, the length is perfect and the weighted ball is great.

    Brokers easily

So disappointed by this charger. I purchased two of these and both broke within 2 months of nightly use. When unplugging the charger the metal piece stayed in the phone and didn't come out with the cord. So upsetting because the design and idea is so great but not good quality!

High price for the a poor quality product

I thought because of how expensive it is, it would last me a decade but it only lasted less than a year. All of sudden, the cable is "not supported..." and it when you unplug and plug it back in it won't charge it would stay at a percent and it would either go up one percent or down. Native union, more like Native to breaking.

    Best Cable I've Owned

I've had this cable for over a year. I've used it in various locations in my house, and I've taken it with me when I travel. It seems to be much more durable than the other cords I've owned. I like the knot, because it prevents the end of the cord--and my iPhone--from being pulled or falling off the table. I think the knot prevents the wires in the cable from being pulled and weakened, thus becoming frayed and breaking. I also like the 10-foot length of the cable because it enables me to charge my devices even if I'm quite a distance from the electrical outlet, such as at an airport where there aren't any seats next to the outlet. I recommend this product.

    cable shorted out twice

I wanted to like this product. It looks cool and has great length. And I love the knot. Unfortunately, the cable shorted out twice on the Lightning end. Apple exchanged the first cable (I purchased it at an Apple store). The replacement cable then shorted out a few months latter. This was with very light use (charging my iPhone overnight next to my bed).

    Great Idea, Lousy Product

I bought this cable because I needed the length. I paid $40 for it, but wanted one that would be compatible with my Apple products, so I purchased it directly from an Apple store. It worked fine...until it didn't. I believe the problem is a partial break in the line at the lightening connector. I can get it to work by fiddling with it and carefully laying it down in the charging mode. Having said that, last night I attempted to charge my ipad mini...it charged up to 20% and that was it. I didn't move it at all while charging, so I am giving up on it. For the money, this was a big disappointment. I'm not sure where I'll go now for the longer charging cord. I would not purchase this again.

    Doesn't Last

Initially the product was great. However, after just over a year a problem developed with the connector. The contacts no longer consistently make contact when a device is plugged in (any device). With some fiddling, inserting, removing, re-inserting, repeat, I can usually get it to work, but that's a pain. Unfortunately the 1-year warranty has expired, and the limited lifetime warranty advertised on their website only applies to their Kevlar cables manufactured after 3/1/2017, so I'm out of luck.

I'm giving 1 star as a participant trophy, and second star for the year I enjoyed using this product. I won't be buying another $40 cable to replace this one.

    Overpriced and disappointing

I purchased from Apple Store thinking name brand in this car equaled quality. I was wrong. It quit working after less than a year.

Do Not Buy - Looks Great, Bad Quality

I bought this for my wife's birthday. This cord lasted 5 months before stopping charging both of our phones. There seems to be an issue with the cord where it hits phone end of the charger. It is fraying and bent. If you move the cord while plugged in, it will sometimes charge and sometimes not.

The reps and the Apple store highly recommended this VERY expensive cord and I thought that meant Quality. However, I've had better quality from Amazon cords.

    Awesome

I have had this cable for over a year and It has worked great for me. I've used it heavily while traveling and while at home and it has not once failed me so far. I am extremely happy with this product and has certainly lived up to its $40 price tag. Its durability and usefulness is second to none when it comes to charging cables for an iphone

    4 Day Lasting Product

I bought this cable at an Apple Store in Salt Lake, UT. It was on a Thursday when I got it. Since then this cable worked fine with my iPhone 6 Plus. But during school on the following Monday, my phone kept powering the charging sound over and over again. When I got home I attempted to charge my phone...it wouldn't. I tried my girlfriends iPhone 7 Plus...same result. I was so frustrated that I payed a $40 cord to last literally 4 days. Inexcusable.

    DO NOT BUY THIS CABLE

As other reviewers have stated, within a few weeks of light use, this cable becomes nearly useless. Out of the box, it charges normally, looks awesome, and has a great length. I loved it! But now it takes about 8-10 hours to charge my iPhone. I contacted Native Union, and they did send me a new one, free of charge, so that was cool. A few weeks later, same issue. DO NOT BUY THIS CABLE.

    Junk

I have had 3 cables from this company and all have broken or stopped working anywhere from 1 week to 3 months. I would not recommend this product.

    Seldom worked

I bought this about 2 years ago from another source mostly because of the cable length so I could charge my devices while I used them in bed. It didn't work in the outlet nearest my nightstand nor in the one by my recliner. It worked in one outlet on the other side of my bedroom. My home is 60 years old and I wondered if it had to do with the wiring. Now I see that other reviewers had problems also. Big waste of money.

How a Lightning Cable Should Be

Native Union has taken a common issue and implemented an easy solution. All cables should come with a weighted end to prevent cables from slipping off the table. I can not even begin to explain my frustration with traditional cables, and having them fall behind my desk, forcing me to desperately search for my cable in a dark, cramped, area.

This is a 10 foot long cable, long enough for you to be across the room and still be able to reach the wall outlet. The cable is constructed of a high quality, sturdy, and elegant nylon braided around the cable. The cable is MFI certified, meaning the Apple itself has inspected the product to ensure longevity and quality.

I would highly recommend this cable. It is light years ahead of the OEM lightning cable. I received this device at a promotional discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased feedback.

    Awesome, so far ...

I've had this cable for a couple of years and I love it! Mind you, I only use it on my night stand so it doesn't get a lot of "heavy" use. The wear and tear is minimal, I guess you could say. At any rate, it's always felt like a very sturdy, high quality cable and is also quite attractive to look at. I am about to purchase another one that will more than likely get a little more use so I may amend my review in the near future if need be.

    Very sturdy

I purchased this to allow me to charge the phone while sitting on nightstand and let me talk/text while charging without getting out of bed. The cord feels much sturdier than the apple lightening cable that came with my phone. I no longer feel like it's going to come apart when unplugging my phone from the charger. The little ball holds the cable on the stand so I don't have to rummage around on the floor looking for it. I only rated 4 starts due to price only. Paying $40.00 for a 10 ft power cord is a bit much. But if it works for the long haul, I guess I'm good.
