    Almost Perfect

These headphones are easy to use, sound great, and cancel noise well. They are comfortable but I don’t feel they fit as snugly as some isolation earbuds. Sometimes the right earbud gets a bit loose I think from the weight or rigidity of the controls on that side. Maybe my right ear is shaped a little differently. The only thing that bugs me about these headphones, and it really bugs me, is that they cut out like the skipping on an old discman. If I’m sitting still or walking around slowly it usually doesn’t happen, but when I mow the lawn every time I turn my head around to see where I’m about to go or to check for cars coming up the road, the music stutters. It is pretty inconsistent and not wholly but mostly confined to turning my head. This happens with my phone right in my pocket so distance isn’t the issue. Most people don’t seem to have this problem. As an aside, there is no excuse for these not using Bluetooth 5.0.

    Broke Within 1 Year

I absolutely loved these headphones! The sound quality was amazing, they had great battery life and were incredibly portable. But within 9 months of buying them, they all of a sudden broke. I'm attempting to work with Bose to fix them but their customer support typically takes 7+ days to respond to emails.

    love and hated

I got these for phone calls and to use while traveling.

however the problem is they would only connect to 1 device and
no matter what i did they would/could not be discovered by my
    iPad or iPod .

even with apples help they couldn't be found.

they were great for noise canceling

    returned them

    Spectacularly Awesome!!!

If you go to the Apple Store they are going to tell you to buy the Beats Wireless or the Apple AirPods. Of course they would! They make the product. And since I am also a fan of Apple products, I bought the Beats 12hour wireless headphones (I always shoot for the best available. Buy right, buy once.). That's when the drama began. I was impressed with the W-1 chip's performance and aiding with a quick Bluetooth connection to both my iPhone and iPad Pro. However, the headphones were very uncomfortabler to wear. I even tried changing the ear buds but that didn't help. So I just kept wearing them because it was more convenient than using my Bose wired headsets. But, in the back of my mind I kept wondering if the Bose might be better eventhough some reviewers had negative remarks. So, after using the Beats for a little more than 2 weeks, I purchased the Bose Quietcontrol 30's.

Admittedly, I have only used them for about an hour. But, the look, feel and initial operation of these headphones far exceed my experience with Beats. Note the following:

Comfort: If you have ever worn Bose earbuds, you know how comfortable they are. There are no earbuds that that feel better. These buds and soft and cushiony (if there is such a word).

Setup/Bluetooth Connection: It was instantaneous! The headphones themselves talk you through the setup procedure! The Beats were easy too. However, I noticed that I sometimes have difficulty getting them to reconnect.

Versatility: The Beats work with multiple devices. Apple is waiving their own flag on this one claiming that the W1 chip (which is not licensed to any other vendor) is revolutionary. I might be. However, the Bose connection method is 10 times better. With Beats, you have to manually disconnect from one device and manually reconnect to the next. With Bose, it does it automatically. I was playing one song on my iPhone, stopped it, and then began playing another phone on my iPad! It switched automatically!!! There was no need for me to do anything. In addition, when I was ready to add my iPad to the Bluetooth link after initially setting up my iPhone, the Bose Connect App asked through my headphones if I wanted to set up and connect to another device. I was flat out floored! And, the connections took just seconds.

Sound Quality: First, when I read that some were not satisfied with the sound qualify of the Quietcontrol 30's, I decided that I would risk the $300.00 on sub par ear buds. However, after reading, researching and trying these two headphones I have come to realize one thing. YOU CAN'T EXPECT THE SAME SOUND QUALITY FROM A WIRELESS HEADPHONE THAT YOU GET FROM WIRED ONES!! I believe that some are so accustomed to the extraordinary sound that comes from the Bose wired headphones that they expected to experience the same from the wireless. That is just impossible. I can say that the sound coming from the Bose set is way better than that of the Beats. The Beats have a reputation for delivering heavy bass. However, I played "Shake Your Body Down to the Ground" by the Jacksons to test the two. To my surprise, the Bose "Body Slammed" the Beats on bass! I couldn't believe it. For the record, the sound quality is not as good as my wired headphones but I think the sound is very good.

    Gen One = issues

Great sound quality when they work...

After using anywhere from a few times to a week or so at the gym - the unit would stop working entirely - either not charge or unable to turn on...I believe there's a design flaw with power storage unit in that both the on/off control and plug for charging rests directly on one's neck / shoulder facing down and prone to collecting 'sweat' - salt and batteries typically don't work well together...

I returned 3 units to Apple - trust me this was not due to operator error or abuse.

Suggestion to Bose - really simple locate on/off control & plug on opposite side - facing 'up' - also provide a longer charging cord the 4-5" one is too short.

    Apple Watch 2 Sync Problem

I can't seem to pair my Apple watch with these headphones. The watch sees them but it keeps saying pairing failed. I was able to pair them to my phone without a problem but this is frustrating. I tried unpairing the phone and disconnecting it from the phone entirely but nothing helped.

The earphones themselves are great, sound and quality.

    Wonderful sound, worth the price

These headphones are incredible! Full bass, impressive active sound control. I cannot hear someone talking to be in a loud voice with the full active sound suppression on. Magic.

The sound quality is way better than the Bose QC 20 with wired sound.

Worth the price. Glad I bought them.

I absolutely love these, completely worth the money. These are ideal for roadtrips, being out on the town, just not for working out (heads up). Honestly, the base is better than most stereo headphones, same for the sound quality. Certainly my favorite pair of headphones. The noise cancelling is top notch by the way. Love it.

    Worth every penny!

These are by far the absolute best headphones I've ever owned and I have owned quite a few different headphones. The sound quality is perfect and noise cancelation works better than earplugs, without having to shove something in your ear canal. It's really amazing how you can be in a very noisy environment and you can turn up the noise canceling and all that noise completely disappears. They are extremely comfortable and can be used all day without making your ears sore. I like how I can pair multiple devices at the same time so it's easy to switch back and fourth from my iPhone and Mac. I had to think really hard to try and find some cons so here they are. I wish it came with a longer charging cable and a charging brick. It also picks up wind noise for some reason but I don't use them very much outside so that's not a big deal for me. Something for cord management would be nice because the earbuds dangle when they aren't in your ears. These are small complaints and shouldn't weigh much on a persons decision to purchase. They are definitely worth the price as long as you use your headphones regularly!

One of the best noise cancellation bluetooth devices available. Easy to carry and use while travelling. No issues with the neck band, actually feel it is good given it will not fall or something. Charging socket could have been at a better place. Bose should introduce the multiple bluetooth connectivity and switch from devices to devices easily. One of the best products from Bose!! Good investment

    I love this product!

This is by far my best investment! The noise cancelling is so amazing that i wondered if the place was quiet while i was in Starbucks!
The only thing what i could hear is the music all the time until i unplug from my ears.
One thing to comment is the bluetooth. It is definitely not often, but i do get glitches once a while. I am not sure if it is disconnecting for less than a half second or due to the interference caused by other bluetooth devices such as apple pencil or apple watch.
However, i am so pleased that i bought this product. I just forget it is sitting on my neck often. So lightweighted and comfortable to keep on my neck.

    True pure sound wirelesss

10/10, simple, easy to manage and powerful sound, deep bass but clear at the same time. Ligth, elegant and confortable in ear headphones. I have both QC 30 and QC 35, both are spectacular, with minimal diferences in noise cancelling. Are Expensive but secure. The BT pairing is fast and the connection solid.
