    Worthless drivers

    • Written by James A from New York

HP specifies this printer as being able to print custom size paper..which it does not do..it also has terrible ink usage and won't scan 11x17.. It is truly an awful product..avoid at all costs

Best Printer I've ever owned, now the owner of 2

    • Written by Matthew M from Minneapolis

I Bought one for work initially for the perk of being able to print on thicker media, and at 11 x 17 no less.
    Thing is a Rockstar.
Bought a second one for my home.

    for those with issues:
My configuration for the bottom tray I leave 50lb stock tabloid (11 x 17) in tray #2, tray number #1 is the workhorse for my letter stock at work. Highly recommend a run through from the supplier gauntlet; and register everything, read up on everything, and download the drivers/apps. Once you get through the setup process, I have had no issues.
It recognizes when I load more paper, and asks if its the same medium, and size. If not? hit Modify.
There is a limit to the paper weight it can feed, I believe I am at the max-and maybe exceeding so, but it feeds with no issues, and at a good clip.
Seems to burn through ink, but I run it at optimum setting and it would fair better were I to default it to draft-prints, downfall of thicker stock going through it quite regularly maybe...and it's an inkjet.
I give it 5/5; with the only down-side i can see is that ios Apps like Printer pro do not necessarily take in all the parameters, and settings of the new device it reads and the options are limited.
Non-issue when printing from my ipad pro, or desktop-this is a complaint about printing from my handset.

    Not Working!!!

    • Written by Jonathan P from Tooele

Ever since I bought the printer I've been having problems, I can't get it to print correctly on 11x17 it's either printing off center or increases the image size by an 1/8" or 1/4". I've spoken to HP for over 8 hrs on the phone and they don't have a resolution to the problem.

    MacOS Sierra 10.12.6

Still can't control printing only in black ink until you want color. No thanks HP.
