    Don't waste your $

garbage product...worked ok for a month or two, but suddenly, it takes several minutes of orienting the phone just perfectly to initiate a charge (and sometimes it won't no matter how much I move the phone around). I bought a $12 knockoff on amazon that grossly outperforms this $60 piece of garbage

    Quality of Life Upgrade

This simple charger has made my days work better. It's not as fast as a portable charger I have but it still charges pretty quickly (with my iPhone 8 plus) and since I can place my phone on it at any time, it makes life simple. I was sick of every day having to recharge my charger as well as my phone even though I kept a spare. If I forgot, I'd be in trouble, let alone in the car. This takes all that trouble away. I love technology that works effortlessly.

    So convienient!

I have had my Mophie for about a week and I love the convenience! You don't need the charger to tell you it's working, you phone will light up to confirm charging. Charges right through my Pelican phone cover and the black color is beautiful! I can place the phone [iPhone X] anywhere on the surface of the charger and it works fine. The rubber surface is good because it won't scratch or slide around. Great quality as well. Nothing to complain about. You may want several of these?

    Works great

Had this for about 4 or 5 months. To the people saying it stopped working suddenly, try restarting your phone and make sure your phone is updated. This happened to me, and that fixed the issue immediately. It has been working great on iPhone 8plus even with an otter box on it. Definitely have to make sure it's centered but it's much easier than dealing with a cord every time you want to use it. I wish the cord that plugs the charger into the outlet was a little longer as it's not going to get very far without an extension cord or longer power strip, at something like 3ft long. Aside from that no complaints yet.

    Not Impressed

I've been using it for almost a month and I've had my phone die over night more times than I can count. You have to put the phone in just the right spot or it won't charge. This means if for whatever reason you accidentally knock it or touch your nightstand and it jolts the phone off center - it wont charge. I've woken up with a nearly dead or dead phone at least 10 times.

If you want one really badly I'd wait until they get a better model out. I'm extremely disappointed in this and will be going back to my wired charger.

    Terrible purchase

If you don’t put your phone down just in the right place then it doesn’t charge.

    Not good

It will only work if I turn my phone completely off and then turn it back on. Not good

    Convenient way to charge

I too am surprised by the negative reviews. I place my iPhone 8, in a Scorpio case, on the charger, without having to worry much about centering it, and the phone lets you know it's in contact and the base LED lights up. It then charges a little faster than the common 5-watt Apple iPhone charger with cord, a little slower than Apple's beefier new iPad chargers.

The only thing that keeps me from awarding 5 stars is that unlike a plugin charger, you cannot power down your phone and charge it on the Mophie. If you do, it will start back up by itself. I will need to get in the habit of putting the phone in Airplane Mode to avoid being disturbed at night.

Overall, the convenience of this charging method makes it worth the price.

Not a very good product at all

This product just doesnt work sometimes. I really cannot explain it. I regret buying it. Wireless charging may sound cool, and it is, for 5-10 minutes after you buy it.

Still works after many months and no bright LED!

I like how the base matches my dark iPhone X perfectly. I also like this model over the Belkin model as that one was too slippery and the LED was bright. The LED at the bottom of this mophie model is more discrete and at night while in bed is hardly noticeable at all.

Definitely purchasing another one for my desk at work.

    Great iPhone X accessory

Perfect charge every use. Use mine on my nightstand and find it quite easy to place my phone on it even in the dark. Very nice not to have to fumble with a cord. Skeptical reviews seem very curious to me.

    My iPhone 8 slides off

I like the small size and low profile. I had three in different rooms and with two of them, the phone will very slowly slide to one side. After 15-30 minutes the phone is no longer in the sweet spot and charging stops. I think it's because two of my locations are ever so slightly un-level, but chargers from 2 other manufacturers work just fine in the same places.

    No longer works

It worked great right out of the box. After a few weeks, it would still work, but I’d have to move the phone around to find the spot to charge it. Now it won’t charge at all, its dead. I used to buy mophie phone charger cases, and they always worked z. It’s sad that they released such a bad product.

    Performance degraded quickly

This product worked great right out of the box, but then it became worse and worse within weeks. At first, it was easy to simply place a phone on it to initiate the charge. Yet, after a week or so, it was less reliable (a phone would be squarely on the device and not charge). Now, a couple of months later, I have to hover a phone over the pad for a minute or two and cross my fingers that it syncs. Waste of money.

    Not so good

I have had this product for over a month and I have had a problem with it. This started to occur a week or two ago the light on the bottom of the pad it indicates that the phone is charging well it flashed 4 or 5 times and the light would completely turn off and my phone would light up letting me know that it’s not charging and the light would come back on and it would start charging again and it would do that all the time when my iPhone was charging on the charger pad and my iPhone would not be completely charged in the morning and when I put the iPhone on the pad it is under 100% so I hope apple sees this and helps me with my problem and also the iPhone was on the pad correctly too

    Works well, poor design

I tested this wireless charging base and the Belkin. Both perform the same in my two weeks of testing, for the same price. There are limitations to the wireless technology, requiring specific (though not too specific) placement. But these reflect the state of the tech and are not a big deal—you get used to it, and wireless is far easier then fumbling with a cable.

I chose the Belkin over the mophie because the Belkin has an indicator light that clearly shows when the iPhone is placed well and charging. The mophie had a light, but very small and dim and hard to see. That is the only differentiatior to me.

Excellent product - don't be fooled by cheaper chargers and bogus reviews

Please avoid the haters. I bought one of these a few weeks ago after a disastrous experience trying one of the 'generic' Qi chargers primarily meant for Samsung products that I got at another retailer that did NOT work. This worked very well right out of the box on my iphone X...even through an otterbox and it isn't picky about placement of the phone on the pad quite like the Belkin or others. I use it nightly as my main charger and love it. The complains about the size of the plug are crazy. If you are using multiplug adapters, yes, you may have an issue with the width of the wall plug obstructing the adjacent outlet on your strip. I have an easy solution for that: use a larger strip or, even better, don't plug so many things into your adapter! I enjoy this o much that I don't use the regular lightning charger anymore at all. Since the iphone X battery is incredible compared to the experiences I had with my 6plus, I can say that charging overnight isn't an issue with me because my phone holds a solid charge all day long. No, I'm not a "fanboy." I just like my products to work, and the Samsung type ones did NOT work for me....didn't put out enough current so they would keep powering on/off, potentially damaging the battery/electronics inside your new phone! The Morphie charges through an otterbox with no problems...a good, solid charge. No worries about overheating of the phone or charger pad either. There is a reason Apple stores use these in the their set-up stations near the genius bars.

    Stopped working after a month....

Will not charge at all after a month of using it. The charge was slow to begin with but now it won’t work at all. DO NOT BUY.
