    So far so good

Works well with my iPhone X in an Otterbox Defender. Iv'e ordered one for home as well. Great in a workplace if you're constantly on the go as I am. Little pricey but if it stays working it's worth it. Phone doesn't vibrate off during calls with the Defender on. I like the led location if it stays on your nightstand, not blinding and doesn't light a room up at night. Charges about the same rate as being plugged into a standard computer. iOS 11.1.2

Worked great on its own, but not with leather case w/magnet

I love this concept and outside of the case it worked like a charm right out of the box. I have a leather-backed case by a company called Burkley and there is a magnet embedded in the back that snaps the phone tray/case into a "folding wallet" style case. So you can have the wallet part with you or just pop off the phone part separately (it's a great case!).

However, wireless charging does not work through the tray part with the magnet and it is very difficult to slip the phone out of the tray (the need to do so removes the convenience that wireless charging is meant to provide). So reluctantly I need to return it. I've heard it works fine through sillicone cases.

I gave it 5 stars because it really does work well as marketed and intended, just not for my heavy case.

    Great Product!

This is a really great product and I am glad I upgraded from my off-brand charger. This charger starts charging immediately once you place your device down. The LED indicator is really dim and subtle so its great for a night stand without making the room bright. One complaint though. I have a case made of TPU (full TPU with nothing else,) and it seems to stick to the rubber surface of the charger from time to time, otherwise, this is a great investment and worth the money!

    Won’t work thru phone case

Bought a phone case and use a magnet plate for a mount in my car.. won’t charge on those wireless charger as is. Have to remove th case to work. That makes this pretty much useless.

    Good quality for the price

This charging base is very sturdy despite its small form factor compared to the Belkin. Wireless charging is slow but it does the job, I would prefer placing my phone down the base than plug in the charging cable anytime. Go for Mophie!

    Slow and unreliable

This charges my phone very slowly. It also frequently and intermittently stops charging. I use this if I am going to be in one location for many hours and I can let it sit on the charger. However, if I need to be certain that I have a full charge, I use the lightning cable.

    Useless

Short cord, no USB, slow charging.
It's a nice-to-have piece of charger, you get faster charging with your regular cable (on your computer, or wall), and even faster if you use an iPad charger. This one doesn't do much unless you're home and not needing a full charge before heading out. Not a good time to buy yet. It says it will allow fast-charging in the future with software update, but until then it's not worth it.

    Love it.

I absolutely love the convenience of just sitting my phone on this base on my nightstand at anytime especially during the middle of the night. I don't have to fumble with the charger and port. I literally just sit my iPhone X on the base and it always charges. No complaints.

    Seems solid.

So, I just received the Mophie charger yesterday. Been using it pretty much at home whenever I haven't had the iPhone X in my hand. So far works well. Seems to charge about as fast as using USB. I don't really care about fast charging. Solid build quality. The iPhone X stays in place when the phone vibrates. Doesn't seem too picky about iPhone placement, as long as the iPhone is relatively centered. Charges thru both the Apple leather case and the Tech21 cases. Seems kind of expensive, but I'm already finding the convenience worth it. To the others that have given it 1 star reviews...there're always going to be manufacturing errors/defects with any product, especially at such large scale production. I suggest getting a replacement and giving it another try. It seems like such a small thing, but I'm already of the mindset that I can't believe Apple waited this long to incorporate "wireless" charging.

    Quality construction, well designed

I definitely prefer the high quality feel and design of this charger over most of the other models. One pleasant surprise that isn’t well documented is the presence of a soft white LED charge indicator on the bottom edge of the unit. Even the Apple Store employees didn’t know it was there. Just the right brightness for use in a dark tv room, bedroom, etc. Very highly recommended!

Worked for 4 days then kaput

Do not buy. Worked fine for 4 days then nothing. I’ll be returning to the Apple Store and wait for a product that is quality. I’m surprised Apple actually sells something of such poor quality.

If I could rate less than 1 star I would.

    great product for the X

very slim and sleek charger, I love the rubber ring on the top that keeps the phone from sliding around and getting scratched on the back.

Perfect for a nightstand. The muted white indicator light shows its working. Great form factor and color makes it low-key. Sturdy, non-slip construction.

Great Charger - works as expected!

I purchased 2 of these (one for home, one for work) for my iPhone X. Simply place your phone centered on the charger and the phone's screen lights up to show that it is connected and is charging. I even can use this charger with the Apple leather case on! It's small and compact with some weight to it and has rubber grips on the bottom, so it won't slide around. A bit pricey but overall worth it as it just works!

    Great product, worth the money.

I love this wireless charger. I have not had any problems placing the phone on the charger and getting an immediate charge. I really like the fact that I can just pick up my phone without having to take it off of a cord when it rings or when I want to use it. This is a very useful device. I keep it next to my bed on my nightstand. I let it charge overnight and by morning it is charged at 100%. This is a much faster and easier way to charge your phone rather than hooking it up to a cord. I recommend this product.

    Not Even 1 Charge

Purchased this from the Apple store for use with my IPhone X. Upon opening the box and setting it up I placed my phone on it and waited for the signal on the battery. It popped up and I walked away thinking my phone was charging, only to return 30 minutes later to find it had only charged 1% and then had stopped. I attempted to try 5-6 other outlets, even making sure I was plugging straight into the wall and not a power strip. After the last try I have given up, will return for refund tomorrow. I will be waiting till Apple releases their version of a Wireless charging base before I invest in a 3rd party unit again. DO NOT PURCHASE
