    Works well, poor design

I tested this wireless charging base and the Belkin. Both perform the same in my two weeks of testing, for the same price. There are limitations to the wireless technology, requiring specific (though not too specific) placement. But these reflect the state of the tech and are not a big deal—you get used to it, and wireless is far easier then fumbling with a cable.

I chose the Belkin over the mophie because the Belkin has an indicator light that clearly shows when the iPhone is placed well and charging. The mophie had a light, but very small and dim and hard to see. That is the only differentiatior to me.

    Meh ...

When it works, it is just fine. However, if you are not really precise about where you place the phone on the charger, it does not connect. I also found that it has poor performance when the phone is covered by a case. My leather case was exceptionally sensitive to placement.

    Good for night only

Wireless charger doesent charge fast enough. Good for sleeping time only. Where u DONT have to search for the cable to connect. When u woke up after 7hrs of sleep in the morning it may be around 95 to 100%.

But if u want quick charging in the morning for iPhone X. Go for either 29w c adapter or 12w iPad charger. Charges quickly

    29w 52% in 30 mins.

    12w 36% in 30 mins

    5w 20% in 30 mins

    Very Basic, No Frills

Got this as an early Christmas present and yeah, it gets the job done.. but it has no other selling points that differentiate it from the rest. It does work with the Apple leather case on so don't listen to other reviews that say you have to remove the case first. I think it really depends on the case material and how thick it is. One thing that I wish this charging pad had was a lightning charging port instead of the standard AC plug. I always have a lightning cable with me but now when I travel I need to bring this things AC adapter too.

All in all, if you're willing to spend $60 for a stationary charging pad that you probably won't travel with then yeah this gets the job done.

Nice design and size but stops charging

During my first 5-6 charges using Mophie pad, my iPhone 8 Plus stopped charging shortly after it was placed on the pad. It happens 3 times and I don’t know whether it has something to do with charger or phone itself.

    Charging for 8 Plus

I realized I have to put the phone centered on the base, if I only place half of the phone on the base it will not start charging. This could be better, other than that it charges well and I like the design.
