Great when it works. Not great at all when it doesn't

    • Written by SIVAN L from Brooklyn

When it works this system really solved the problems of setting up wifi in a five story brownstone, and the service was great. However every time there is a power cut or the service provider's modem has to be reset, setting it back up is a problem and involves long calls to 'The Velop team'. The whole process can take hours, and is very frustrating. I'm now doing it for the third time in six months.

    lost connections

    • Written by Richard R from Knoxville

This system is advertised as fixing the shortcomings of regular home wifi, but frankly I've had lots of problems. On the days it works, it seems fine. on the days it doesn't: restarting on their own; lost internet connections; entering setup mode for no apparent reason. One day one of the units lost connection 4 times in 11 minutes....and this was after the setup tool told me the location of the unit "looks good"! And while this was happening, my TV was streaming just fine over a wired connection, so it wasn't an ISP issue.

Do what I did....hardwire your house.
