    Bubbles

Worked for about 2 months and then bubbles started to appear. Doesn't seem worth spending $40 for a product that has issues like this

    Awful

Screen broke in my pocket shortly after purchase... worst and most expensive screen protector I’ve purchased.

    Not at all durable

I always keep a screen protector on my phone. In the past, after I've gotten a new phone, I've taken it to a kiosk up the hall in the mall from the Apple Store to get one. I've had glass protectors from there on my last several phones, and they're great, but they do tend to get a little beat up (scratched and chipped) eventually.

This time, Apple was offering this protector in-store, and the sales guy insisted that it would be better and more durable than what the kiosk offers. It was about the same price, so I said sure and went with it. Well, he was wrong. My phone doesn't take a whole lot of abuse, and I haven't dropped it or done anything damaging to it. Yet the corners of this screen protector are chipping, and it's got several big scratches across it. It looks worse than any that I've ever had from the kiosk has after a much shorter time.

The real kicker? If I decide a screen protector from the kiosk is looking too damaged, they'll replace it for just $7. Getting this one replaced by the Apple Store will cost me the full $40 of a new one.

I'm going with the kiosk from now on.

    Would not recommend.

I purchased this item earlier this week and within 2 days, it cracked. I was sitting on the floor with my phone in my pocket. My phone slipped out of my pocket onto the floor (less than a 5 inch drop) and the screen protector cracked immediately. I would not recommend this product at all.

    Not that great

Started bubbling after 2 weeks. My phone felt from literately 2 feet and the film cracked all over, now useless; for a product claimed to be used in the space shuttle windows it falls really short.
Not to mention pricey, it’s ridiculuos

    Perfect fit! Great Glass!

Just had my IPhone X fitted at an Apple Store and I’m extremely happy. They use a board that the phone goes into to line the glass up with the screen so there’s no errors and the tech took great care in cleaning the devices screen before application. I’ve had glass installed in the past by vendors and cell phone stores and after having it done at the Apple store i will never go anywhere else to have a protector put on that’s how impressed i am.

Side note! For those of you with some air under the invisiglass protector take a grab a credit card or microfiber cloth and press down on those areas gentlyand the space will go away. I had some afterwards and all it took was some small effort to press them down so do not worry if you have them just use that tactic

Don’t But This Piece of Junk

I bought this from the local Apple store in Escondido, California on Monday April 16. I have not dropped my iPhone except from maybe 2 feet and onto soft carpet and there was no crack afterwards. I put my phone into my pocket yesterday April 18, and after I took it out to use, there was a big spider web of a crack staring from the bottom and worked its way up, near the middle. The only thing in my pocket at the time were my car keys. I like another user, expected a lot more from something that costs over $40. I’ll try to get a refund or exchange.

    Very weak glass

At first, it seems like a really nice screen protector (I have the iPhone X) but one drop and it's all over which wasn't a high fall at all. I wouldn't recommend this for drop protection. cracks galore

    Belkin screen protector

This assessment is due by several factors:
    1. I also bought the previous model, which broke after a very short time, and it changed very little, mainly to the eye seems to have changed only the thickness. It must be considered that I take great care of my things, there are no apparent reasons for the break, it can happen simply holding it in your pocket or simply resting it on the table or just during the application.
    2. I have tried and used tempered glass of "competing" / inferior brands that alas, even if they create problems after time (a month or a month and a half last), at least they do not last as little as this. With substantial differences in price, as those of the competition I've tried cost LESS than half and in the pack at least there are AT LEAST 2, so as not to have to spend again the figure and ALWAYS have at least another reserve.
    3. The only detail that makes the difference and that deserves this star more, is the fact that in the Belkin packaging there is the applicator, a base where you insert the phone and the application of glass is easier. However, there is still something missing, that is the UMIDA pezzolina as well as the dry one, which in my opinion needs a lot to clean the screen before the application.

    Final considerations:
It is not worth ABSOLUTELY, AND REJECT, IN NO WAY what it costs. In my opinion Apple, could rely on a better brand or otherwise could TESTARE products better. The glass is used to protect the screen of a device that costs over € 1000, in my opinion can not. A tempered glass of THIS "quality" can not cost so much, I care about the protection of my iPhone and I have not found the right balance with this glass.
Another thing on which I am doubtful, the glass of my iPhone, before the application, was perfectly clean, I do not therefore understand why the procedure has to find ALWAYS (both for this and the previous model removed from the trade) one or two MICRO bubbles. Now I wonder if the packaging is actually done properly, with accuracy, if the first time could be a CASE, the second no. This is also a fundamental detail that has never happened with tempered glass of other competing brands that cost LESS than half.

I will try to ask for reimbursement, and I hope this review can leverage the company's attitude, hoping that they can improve by reading it. At the moment we are not there. I advise against it, but at the same time I accept opinions on other experiences or answers on the same company.

Don't listen to the negative reviews.

I don't understand the negative reviews. The price is steep for a screen protector but I spent well over the price of this one for several cheapies on Amazon that were terrible and didn't last a week. All of them cracked or chipped in just a few days and suffered from extremely distracting haloing around the edges. I'm not exaggerating when I say I went through at least a half a dozen of these and ultimately choose to leave the screen naked until Belkin fixed the issue with their first gen product for the X.

This Belkin, installed by Apple, is fitted perfectly on my screen. There is no halo effect that I can see and the touch sensitivity is the same as the original, unprotected screen, if not a tad better. Like another reviewer posted, the Belkin feels like it allows your finger to glide with less resistance than the naked phone glass.

Another reviewer here left a 1-star review because the Belkin is not scratch proof. I don't know of any glass that is scratch proof. The glass on the iPhone is made of higher quality glass than any screen protector and it's not scratch proof. Otherwise, the product wouldn't be needed. The point of the screen protector is to get scratched and cracked instead of your iPhone's display. If this or any other screen protector was completely scratch proof, Apple would probably just use them to make the displays.

I bought this protector for my 6S Plus and 7 Plus and BOTH are still in perfect condition. I am very pleased with the Belkin and will continue to purchase it for future devices.

    Horrible!

This screen protector is terrible, Belkin struggles to make a glass durable enough to withstand a small drop. I have cracked this screen 3 times, and the only reason I got another was because of the lifetime warranty. It is not worth it to get this product, if I could give this zero stars, I would.

Do NOT Purchase this Belkin InvisiGlass Screen Protector

Purchased this screen protector with my new iPhone X and it cracked within 3 hours of having it on my phone. Phone wasn't dropped, it was just in my purse. Reached out to Belkin for a replacement and they said they could send a new one, BUT I needed to to send a picture of the crack. Really? I'm headed back to the Apple Store tomorrow to return and ask for my money back.

    NOT WORTH THE PRICE

I had it for a week and suddenly I noticed that the screen protector had CRACKED... Didn't drop the phone once or treated it bad. (Plus I have an apple leather case on it), I still have it on and now it has cracks all over. I've always used to just buy the cheapest screen protector I could find, but being that this is a $1000+ Phone I just wanted to keep it safe. In the end, I think is too expensive for it to crack so easy. I haven't taken the Screen protector off so I hope that the actual phone screen is fine.

    Better Than the X's Screen

It's hard to believe this protector has to be this expensive, but, between the quality of the glass and the superior installation at the Apple Store (Boulder, CO in my case), I'm glad I got it. The polished surface of the protector provides better feel than the iPhone X's bare glass screen, and actually improves the tactile interface with the phone. The protector covers more of the phone's front than a couple of others I have, and pairing it with an Otterbox Pursuit case I have a thoroughly protected phone in a compact, elegant package. I don't feel the beveled edges of the protector because the gap between them and the case is so small as to be almost invisible. The protector doesn't cover the notch, so the speaker there is exposed to the elements, but it is designed to be water resistant, and covering it, as at least one aftermarket, tempered glass protector does, would interfere with the sound at least a little. I hope not to test this protector's efficacy, but I understand these things to be effective. The polymer ones I've used on previous phones prevented my ever having had a scratched or cracked screen.

    Not scratch resistant

I purchased this at the Apple store upon purchase of my new iPhone X on the recommendation of the sales person. She placed it on the phone without complications. I’ve had this protector on my phone for less than a week and have a scratch on it. My phone has only been in my purse with nothing I believe with cause such a scratch. Yet here I am with a brand new phone with a brand new screen protector with the scratch. For $40 I would expect this screen protector to be more durable.

Once you go glass, you never go back!

I couldn’t see spending $39.95 for a screen protector, so I had the Belkin Anti-Glare screen protector installed at the Apple Store few months ago. I was happy with it, but as others stated it makes the screen darker and smudges like crazy.

I had the updated InvisiGlass Ultra screen protector installed at the Apple Store earlier this week. They refunded the $19.95 for the anti-glare screen protector no questions asked. Perfect install as usual. The clarity and feel of this thing is amazing.

    Not bad so far

The screen protector is holding up well so far. The only thing I will call out is the edges of the screen protector glow as they’re a little too close to the screen edges. Can be distracting, but I guess I’ll get used to it. Get these installed at the Apple Store by the way. They went through a couple just trying to get one onto my iPhone X. Note that water is not used as part of the installation unlike a lot of screens out there.
