    Purchase Apple Care Instead

I purchased an iPhone XS Max and this screen protector at the same time. I had the screen protector installed at the Apple Store by an Apple technician. 4 days later, I pull my phone out of my pocket and feel the screen protector break under my thumb. I work as a software engineer, at a desk for 8 hours a day so my phone's don't see heavy usage, or tough environments. My expectation would be for $40, this would last longer, however it doesn't, and I was relieved to find that I wasn't the only one with this issue.

I felt slightly embarrassed walking into the same Apple Store describing how this protector broke given I had not dropped my phone, and that I would like a refund or a replacement. After some back and forth (IE I pull up an article showing Belkin's recall of this exact screen protector), they did replace the protector with the same model (don't have high hopes here). Love the concept of a screen protector, but given the price, and the likelihood that you will buy more than one over the life of your iPhone, just opt for the Apple Care.. less questions asked, better coverage.

**I did appreciate Apple agreeing to replace the protector. Their focus at the store was to make sure I left feeling good and it showed, regardless of the issues with the product.

    Do Not Buy

This is a total rip off, do not buy. I bought one on impulse in store when I picked up my iPhone X last year and it lasted a couple of weeks before cracking. I then bought a replacement on Amazon for less than $10 which lasted about 9 months.

To support this product that is good quality

I installed it in a Apple store in 3 July 2018. Until now without any complaint.
My phone was never drop and most of the time stays at my back pocket, even sit.
The screen image is so crystal clear.
My next phone sure will have it installed again. Worth every penny.

    AVOID, cracks with normal use

I bought this along with my iPhone and it cracked within a few days of normal use just taking it in and out of my pocket, didn’t drop it once. Belkin customer care were beyond useless, so much so that I’ll never buy a belkin product as long as I live.

    Do not buy.

This screen protector was warped and the the alignment jig was too small to fit the phone, making it useless.

    absolute junk

bought this two weeks ago at the apple store for my new iPhone 8 and it was installed by an apple technician. I have not dropped it or abused it and it is cracked. I just remembered that I purchased this same screen protector for my iPhone 6s and had the same problem. I can't believe that Apple would lend its name to such an inferior product. Just wasted $40.00. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

This InvisiGlass Saved My iPhone X

Today I accidentally dropped my iPhone when I got our of my car and it landed face down onto a pile of rocks. The height of the fall was about 3 feet. I screamed inside like a true iPhone fan and then I picked up the phone only to realize that the InvisiGlass absorbed all the shock. It did crack the screen protector, however, my iPhone remained flawless. On my way now to the Apple Store to get another one right away. I highly recommend this product. I rather spend 40 dollar on a screen protector than having my entire iPhone replaced.

    You also need a CASE!

I don't care what glass screen protector you use, without a case that has a raise lip (Apple iPhone X Leather cases), the corner of the glass is going to "catch" and it will crack or chip! As simple has inserting and removing you phone from you pocket or purse. Glass is brittle; therefore, it can't "bend". Causing the glass to chatter or crack.

My iPone was purchased on the first day, last year, along with the Belkin glass protector (Apple Store installed) and the Apple Leather case. Guess what? It's still perfect.

I'm an engineer working is some nasty factories and use the iPhone constantly in harsh environment.

    Does not even stick

Worst purchase I ever made, I basically tossed $40 down the drain for this useless product. I followed the instructions exactly, even watched their how to video, and the thing just slides around all over my screen. It doesn't stick at all. I would never recommend this product, it's trash, just like the company who made it. Belkin = TRASH. Enjoy my $40 ripoff artists.

    Don't Waste Your Money!!

I originally went to my local Apple store anxious to purchase this product ASAP. I should have read the reviews before making the trip. My local store was closed for remodeling so I had to travel 30 miles to another Apple store. I was determined. I purchased this screen protector and in less than a week I had a crack going right through the middle of my phone. I have a desk job and in no way shape or form does my phone get abused. I had my 6 plus for 5 years and the protector on it never scratched or cracked! SO, I went back to the store and they replaced it with a new one. AGAIN in less than a week or two my phone looked like I dragged across a concrete sidewalk. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! I am surprised that the Apple store would carry such an inferior product in light of how product quality is one of their strong suits!

    Complete garbage

I regrettably took the advice of the salesman at the apple store without doing my homework and bought this $40 piece of garbage. I had them install it on my new iPhone X, i have had glass screen protectors on my last 4 iPhones with no issues (i always have used the zagg brand). i barely made it to work and i already had a crack all the way across the screen. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Cracked within 3 days of application

I purchased this screen protector when I bought my phone on the suggestion of the Apple salesperson. Three days later, I took my phone out of my purse and found the screen protector cracked. What a waste of $40!

    Bubbles

Worked for about 2 months and then bubbles started to appear. Doesn't seem worth spending $40 for a product that has issues like this

    Not at all durable

I always keep a screen protector on my phone. In the past, after I've gotten a new phone, I've taken it to a kiosk up the hall in the mall from the Apple Store to get one. I've had glass protectors from there on my last several phones, and they're great, but they do tend to get a little beat up (scratched and chipped) eventually.

This time, Apple was offering this protector in-store, and the sales guy insisted that it would be better and more durable than what the kiosk offers. It was about the same price, so I said sure and went with it. Well, he was wrong. My phone doesn't take a whole lot of abuse, and I haven't dropped it or done anything damaging to it. Yet the corners of this screen protector are chipping, and it's got several big scratches across it. It looks worse than any that I've ever had from the kiosk has after a much shorter time.

The real kicker? If I decide a screen protector from the kiosk is looking too damaged, they'll replace it for just $7. Getting this one replaced by the Apple Store will cost me the full $40 of a new one.

I'm going with the kiosk from now on.

    Would not recommend.

I purchased this item earlier this week and within 2 days, it cracked. I was sitting on the floor with my phone in my pocket. My phone slipped out of my pocket onto the floor (less than a 5 inch drop) and the screen protector cracked immediately. I would not recommend this product at all.

    Not that great

Started bubbling after 2 weeks. My phone felt from literately 2 feet and the film cracked all over, now useless; for a product claimed to be used in the space shuttle windows it falls really short.
Not to mention pricey, it’s ridiculuos
