    Horrible

Horrible, always unresponsive if you're even able to add It to HomeKit. Took me hours to set up, only for it to stop working every week.

    Not Worthy of Consideration

My home is set up with a lot of smart devices. All were connected with ease; I wanted to try this brand and boy am I sorry. I bought it because it had the homekit logo on it which meant that should connect effortlessly. Spent few hours to make this beast work with no avail. Tried all sort of ways from different iOS devices (which had iOS 12.4 & iOS 13 beta), several restarts, resets and NOTHING worked! HomeKit never connected to this dumb plug. Even Wemo's own app was stop and go. I don't know how Apple gave the green light to put the HomeKit logo on it. What a waste of time. I am returning it today to the store.

    Honestly not worth the hastle

I purchased 3 of these yesterday along with the HomePod. These are not simple at all. Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if these are returned often because I was close. You have to be tech savvy to get these to work even a little bit. These are not user friendly at all. They are not like Apple products you are used too. You will have a much easier time finding a whole new accessory. I’m willling to be these issues are from apples new authentication over the air for HomeKit accessories. I don’t recommend this product whatsoever. These reviews are real and theis product is garbage.

    This product does not work

    • Written by Andrew N from Portland

I bought two of these, and a bridge.
I can't get either of them to be recognized,
either in the wemo app or in the homekit app.

A smart plug shouldn't be that difficult.

    Worthless.

Does not work with HomeKit, awful setup, buggy, poor product. Avoid.

I’ve tried to set up 5 of these. 4 of them eventually worked, but each one had to be added a completely different way. The HomeKit code included simply never works when scanned. The instructions don’t reflect how iOS actually works. They don’t work with a 5ghz network at all. The app even told me they were incompatible with my Airport router. If you’re using 5ghz for other HomeKit devices you’ll have to move everything to avoid constant glitches. The WeMo app they want you to use to add them to HomeKit constantly fails, crashes, and tells you to restart your iPhone/iPad. These should never have been certified for HomeKit as they barely work, are horribly frustrating to set up when they do, and there’s a 50/50 chance the one you get won’t work at all. Once set up they disappear and re-appear at random. Some of them refuse to factory reset. These are lemons and shouldn't be sold or bought. Search online and you will see thousands of others with the same experience. Do your research before buying them. Someone needs to re-test these and remove the HomeKit certification.
