Looks good but won’t last long

    • Written by Madhukiran C from Southfield

In the intial days the band looks great but after few months it starts to loose it’s coating along the edges of the band and looks so awkward. So finally realized that I have spent the money on a wrong item

Top quality - don't pay attention to the bad reviews

    • Written by Aliaksandr S from Minsk

I bought this with Apple watch series 0 - it lasts years! I suspect people who wrote bad reviews bought bracelets from untrusted sellers not from Apple.
So about my bracelet: Once upon a time a was traveling and put my watch into the backpack where there were metal keys. After some time I took them back and saw scratches on the bracelet - I was angry with myself that I put them together. Scratches seemed deep enough to be be polished out - I tried to use a piece of cloths to do so. I almost cope with my mistake and forgot about that.
After a week of regular wear I looked closely on the bracelet and supprisingly there were no scratches at all!!! Can you imagine that? That's after a couple of years of normal wear!! My 500$ Tissot with shiny metal bracelet got plenty of scratches, the Apple Watch itself got scratches, my IPhone 7 Plus Jet Black has a lot of them BUT NOT THE BLACK LINK BRACELET!!

    Poor quality

    • Written by Michael S from Palo alto

My bracelet showed scratches within a few months and by now (2 years after purchase) it shows many silver patches. Very disappointing. Even more disappointing, the watch itself just broke—the screen completely detached from the base and is not repairable. That’s even more disappointing. My other watch is a Rolex and I think i’ll stick with it going forward. With it, you get what you pay for.

Great band & has held up for years

    • Written by Daniel B from NEW YORK

I’ve had this band (space black link bracelet) on my original series 1 iWatch from day zero, soon after they were originally released—a few years now (assuming, of course, that the band materials/quality hasn’t changed).

My band doesn’t have a single scratch or chip and has held up well and looks great!

    Cheap Quality

    • Written by Jeffrey S from Arden

Within months, small cosmetic scratches allow the shiny stainless steel underneath to shine through and destroy the sleek appearance I thought I’d enjoy for years. Less than two years from purchase and a small metal piece came off the latch and now the band is worthless. Apple support has no option to repair; you’re only recourse is to buy a brand new band. Terrible quality and terrible customer support. Buy a third-party band and save your money.

    Another Great Product from Apple

    • Written by Matthew G from Columbia

This band is innovative, and I have owned it for over a year. It does not have a single scratch. The couple of times I thought I scratched it I rubbed it with a microfiber cloth and the scratches disappeared. I love how you can remove links on your own and the butterfly clasp is extremely comfortable and revolutionary. Overall this is an expensive product but worth the money and I love how it looks with my SBSS Apple Watch.

    Very disappointing

    • Written by Susanne C from Earlysville

Ordered this watch for my husband’s 60th birthday.
It was not inexpensive to say the least, and the
Description said it was a great quality made item & the coating on the
Band would last for years. Within a few months the coating was chipping
    And now it looks awful.
A replacement band is fairly expensive too. Disappointed in Apple’s

Beautifully crafted both in terms of design and workmanship

    • Written by Jaffrey A from Falls Church

The link bracelet goes very well with the black stainless steel watch. It isn’t heavy yet very well finished and gives the watch a premium yet understated look. The adjustments are great and so far I am very happy with it. It is great when you want s little dressed up look over the sports band.

In terms of durability, given that it is colored metal it is likely to chip. So far mine looks great but l won’t be surprised to see a chip in the paint here and there. This band is great for what it is. No other Apple band comes close in terms of design or build quality.

    Disappointed by the quality

    • Written by Matthieu F from Longwood

Like many other (on the 42mm model) I'm very disappointed in the quality of the product. I was told the coating would last years without any wear. After a few months, it started showing silver stainless steel.
Paid premium to get the best quality and end up feeling like I should have gone the Chinese road.
