    Good Design BAD Quality

Cannot find any fault with the thought behind the Apple Silicone cases (sleek, thin and do-not make the phone look like an oversized walkie-talkie), however the quality of this case like other Apple accessories (specifically power cables, wired headphones etc.) is HORRIBLE. The outer silicone coating of this case starts peeling off within 6 months (even earlier if you routinely put your phone in your trouser pockets, especially jeans and similar material, take your phone in and out of the case a few times to change the SIM card etc., or in general do not treat it with EXTRA-ORDINARY care). Once a little piece of Silicone starts peeling off, that's it, this case is done - the rest of the Silicone comes out very quickly making the case unusable. Not sure why Apple chooses to use sub-standard material for its VERY HIGHLY priced accessories??? I guess, because the ratio of their profit margins on these accessories is much higher than the actual Phones. $35 - $40 for something that probably costs them under a Dollar to manufacture isn't bad from their perspective... BUT what about the CUSTOMER??

    A poorly made case

I expected more from an apple brand case. About the only good things I can say about this case is that it looks good and offers better grip for the phone. But the looks will fade. It is very poorly made. The silicon wares easily and tears easily too. Don't expect this case to last you more that about 9 months. You can probably find something better for less with little effort.

Poor Quality Rubber, Rubbed Off, Cracked - Not Premium Nor Durable

I have the white one. The rubber on the upper left corner has rubbed off after regular extractions from my pocket. The rubber on the edges have cracked and split from 5-6 case removals. The quality is just awful. I thought paying for the Apple version meant higher quality in exchange for the higher price, but that's simply not the case. I have an Apple Newton with rubberized coating and it's faired great over 20 years. I have a Logitech universal remote that also has rubberized coatings and it looks great after 10 years of hard usage. But the rubber on this case lasted maybe 4 months before it started to fail. Ugh.
