    Convenient

    • Written by Sagnik D from San Jose

The magic mouse 2 is very convenient and easy to use. I have always used the pad and this was the first time I used the magic mouse 2 and have no complains. It is very easy to use and the swipe options make it the best feature.

    Totally worth buying.

Was leery to purchase but pleased

    • Written by Tiffany E from San antonio

I have been switching to all Apple products since last year so when I bought my MacBook Air, I really wanted to stick with the matching Apple mouse. After reading the reviews here, I was scared to purchase this mouse. After debating with it a few weeks, I finally purchased it. Very pleased with the fact that the shipping was super fast, I received it within one day! I don't have any complaints about the mouse itself. I use it without a mouse pad since my desk top is glass and it works great!

    Great mouse for productivity

    • Written by Daniel K from Davenport

This is not a gaming mouse! Anyone that tries to use this mouse with a first person shooter or with video games that requires secondary click will be disappointed no matter what.

For those who use Final Cut and professional apps; this mouse is perfect! Very responsive, has a rechargeable battery, and it just glides on any surface. The gestures that this mouse is capable of also helps with your productivity as well. I love this mouse and if anything happens to it I might just break down and cry (it's that good). It is also a little on the light side, and that is okay especially when you need to move it around the interface of an application quickly.

    A very solid mouse.

    • Written by David A from St. Mary's Point

Solid Feel on the different desk surfaces I use. Great connectivity reliability. Love the fingertip touch surface for scrolling. The charging via the lightning connect is a wonderful change of pace from replacing AA batteries of mice of older systems.

    Best mouse!

    • Written by Renee F from Hope Valley

So before I purchased this I read all the reviews. I noticed people were complaining about the battery charging port being on the bottom and decided to buy it anyways. I just want to make sure everyone knows; yes it is on the bottom! However, I use mine 8 to 9 hours a day and have had it on one charge for over a month and a half now. So the charging port may be inconvenient but you honestly don't need to use it that often. Also, this mouse is great if you're used to switching from laptop to actual computer! It allows me to use most of the same gestures that the trackpad does and I like that for convenience. Overall this is probably the best mouse I have ever used (so far) and I would recommend it to anyone! One more important thing, I had issues connecting the bluetooth and scrolling at first. Shortly after I realized that it only works with OS X El Capitan so make sure you upgrade before buying!

    Best Mouse Ive Owned

This mouse is so lightweight and glides across the surface effortlessly. Pairing was easy and quick. I recommend this mouse to any mac owner. I personally prefer the mouse over the trackpad on my macbook pro.

    Love it so far

    • Written by Charles D from Athens

Battery life? Been using it for several weeks and it never got below 95% charged. I just recharge it as a precaution. Even left it on for a few days when not using it. I wonder how long I could go with out it.

    Love the scroll.

    Love the feel.

Like the idea of being able to change the functions.

Great mouse - what is everyone talking about!?!

    • Written by Michael T from Weare

I was shocked to see all the negative reviews on here. This is a great mouse - well worth the money. It works on every surface; it easily synced with my MacBook Pro; the scrolling function without a trackball is awesome; and it lasts a long time without charging. Yes, the charging slot is on the bottom of the mouse, so you cannot use it while it is charging, but there is not a single mouse on the market that can be charged while in use!
I wish it was a little cheaper, as I wish every MAC product was cheaper, but like all apple products, it lasts and thus is worth the investment.

    great mouse

    • Written by Kyle D from Brazil

Love this mouse! love you don't have to put batteries in it anymore, and they include a lightning ca able to charge it. my only complaint is that it should have put the charging port on the side or some where so while it charges it can be setting flat. it charges fast and last at least a month for me and i use it daily.

    Just works like it should

    • Written by W B from Holland

Used Magic Mouse 1 for over two years. Enjoyed them, bought my own rechargeable Eneloop batteries for them. Worked great.
Now I switched to Magic 2, it was as easy as 'plug and play', or I should say 'on and play'. Keyboard came charged, mouse not. Plugged in the Apple cable that came with the mouse to charge it, took a cup of coffee, and it was ready to use when I finished my coffee. (I drink my coffee hot) ;)

Some people worry about the bottom charging on the mouse. I use it every day, 14-18 hours each day, but the battery lasts long enough, so I did not run into any issues with it being empty. Charging it 10 minutes would give it another half day of work. I like the scrolling on the mouse.
I had to get used to the keyboard design, with it being flush on the side, instead of open underneath to grab it, or put it away. But I got used to it now.

    Great product!

    • Written by Steve K from San Jose

1st gen Margic Mouse user and the Magic Mouse 2 works as expected and it's much lighter. Yes, you can't use it while it's charging but you only need a few minutes of charge for a couple of hours use. For all the functions to work, you will have to upgrade to El Capitan if you're still on Yosemite.

    Haters going to hate.

    • Written by Aaron R from STILLWATER

I've seen a lot of negative reviews about the magic mouse 2 and I have to disagree. This mouse is simple, the gestures feature is amazing, and the design is super sexy. I thought I would regret spending the extra cash on this mouse and I'm sure glad I did. The main criticism I see echoed over and over is that you can't use the mouse while it's charging. And if you have an iMac or other device that doesn't have a built in trackpad I can see how that is annoying, but the mouse charges quickly and it's easy enough to check the battery level in the System Preferences. So if you're mouse dies, plug her in and go get some fresh air when you return she should have enough juice to finish the day. You probably deserved a break anyhow.

Simply put the best mouse out there

    • Written by Juan Sebastian C from Tuluá

I always wondered how a mouse could work without a second click or even a wheel, but Apple's design has solved it in such a brilliant way. Everytime I touch my mouse I feel grateful for the quality and value that apple puts into every product.

If you are interested in a mouse instead of a trackpad (which I prefer) go for this one, and you won't regret it. The quality (metal and crystal) is just unbeatable. Other cheap plastic mouses are horrible.

P.S. It works even in the most irregular surfaces, doesn't have to be specifically on a flat surface with perfect reflection material. It just works.

    I love it!

    • Written by Larry F from Renton

I think I have tried all of the wireless mice Apple has produced over the years. We are still using the original battery-powered Magic Mouse. It's a significant improvement over its predecessors. The Magic Mouse 2 is an improvement over that. Detractors love to malign the placement of the charging port because you can't use the mouse while it's charging. Those people apparently haven't used the mouse long enough to know it's really not a factor. I use this mouse nearly every day for at least an hour or more, and in the three months I have had it, I have charged it once. It was nearly fully charged out of the box, and it was just a few weeks ago that I needed to charge it again. You get plenty of notice before it dies. If you're worried about running it down while you're working, plug it in and take a 10-minute break. It will charge enough during that time to give you several more hours. When you're finished, plug it in for a few hours and it will be ready to go again for a couple more months.

I absolutely love this mouse. It runs smooth without a mouse pad under in, and the touch features on this are really cool! I would recommend this to anyone and I'm really not sure why this is getting such bad reviews!
