    Beast Beats!

Awesome lightweight headphones, with cool features like W1 chip and fast fuel charging! Sound is clear and good. They stay in my ears pretty well, even when running or just hurting up somewhere. Now the note for the workout lovers! This product doesn't claim any kind of sweat or water resistance, but I haven't had any issues with BeatsX while working out or putting them in sweaty or wet bag after workout or under the rain. So it is at your own risk to use them when working out or under the rain for reason being that if they will get water damage, the warranty won't fix it, you'll have to buy a new pair of headphones.

Love them but not without flaws

These are my go to headphones for everyday use, taking phone calls for work, and hitting the gym hard. I also have the Powerbeats wireless 2 but those have never fit my ears properly and the BeatsX feel great. I'm not an audio junkie but to me they sound great. After only about 5 months though, they stopped working. The return process was extremely painful but once I finally received a box to send them in, I received a new pair within about 3 days. I've read the reviews of multiple repairs and am hoping I won't end up in the same boat because I do really love them!

    Wonderful when they do work

I have been a huge Beats fan for years and years, and when I first found out that these were gonna be released I saved up for almost a year to be able to buy them on the release date. This is my third Beats earphone pair now and the quality and bass is amazing, BUT.. They´re in for service for the third time now, I´m waiting on my third pair of BeatsX because the first two I got suddently stopped working.. So they´re amazing when they actually work, but a lot of technical difficulties sadly..

Love them, except for a few things

I was very hesitant to buy these since I was never a Beats fan, but the world of bluetooth headphones is somehow extremely limited. The selling point of these were W9 chip for pairing with my iPhone seamlessly, which it does, and advertised 8h battery. Now I can't say exactly that it goes up to that point, the huge downside of them is that once you switch to do something else and pause your music, they still continue to work and consume battery. So more often than not I find myself listening to them on the way somewhere and forget to turn them off, resulting in a dead battery otw back. If only they could automatically shut down, that would be amazing. Other than that I find the sound pretty good, and being the bass-head that I am I was initially slightly disappointed that they aren't actually bass-heavy, but I git used to that and appreciate the sound they produce.

Great earphones, really easy to setup and use!

I really love the earphones they worked great out of the box and paired easily with my Android phone. Sound is good and controls are intuitive. I did have trouble with one of the "secure fit wingtips" breaking which is annoying. Trying to figure out how to get a replacement but it isn't obvious.

    Amazing

I actually bought a MacBook and got the beatsX for free, but I would definitely pay the money to get them. The packaging was incredible and the headphones them self are out of this world. Everyone that I talk to on the phone can hear me clearly and same way goes for them. I can hear them loud and clear. I would recommend them.

    Nearly ideal

These are almost perfect bluetooth headphones. Once you get used to it, the W1 chip is a pleasure — I frequently switch between my Mac and iPhone, and this makes that much quicker. The sound quality is totally fine but is a tad below my threshold of best quality. If it were a little bit better I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this and better headphones. Battery life is pretty good, but I'm spoiled by a previous pair that lasted 24 hours. Form factor is exactly right.

    Great for Everyday Uses

I ordered the BeatsX initially for use in the gym and unfortunately, I will be sending them back. While I have really enjoyed them during the day, I found the cord to be too long. During running, the earphone cords come up and hit my face and because they are not sweat-resistant, I fear that they won't last long in my possession. I did not experience any other difficulties with them but so it is with great sadness I return them.
However, they are truly wonderful for everyday use! I do enjoy the sleek design and they certainly connect with ease. I was able to go upstairs with the earphones on while leaving my phone downstairs, and I was still completely connected and could hear my music perfectly. The original earbuds were a bit too big for my ears but when I switched to a smaller size, the audio was amazing and cancelled all outside noise. I also really liked the additional wings, as they added security and were very comfortable.
Overall, a wonderful set of earphones but due to the fact they will not fit my needs at the gym, I will have to send them back.

Great and all that but one annoying issue!

I know there are ton of benefits and I love them but personally, one big issue.

The earphones drop an active connection when an another device turns on to which they are paired.
I don't know who is responsible here but its highly annoying when I'm on a call and I turn on my laptop and my call goes like "Hello ??? Hello ????"

that in no scenario is an easy life.

    Best Wireless Earbuds for iPhone

Great set of wireless headphones if you are using them casually. They aren't sweat proof, so that's something to consider. But if you're an active traveler, I'd find it hard to argue for the money that you can find a better pair of wireless headphones. The W1 chip and lightning charging capability with fast fuel make them worth every penny. 5min gets you TWO hours of playback! On top of that, I've easily put over 7hrs of nearly continuous use without them dying. That makes them perfect for keeping wires out of your way when on a plane, in the airport, and walking to the next destination. Get these, you won't be angry. I would give them 5 stars if they had slightly more midrange and mid-low performance. But with that said, they sound good for what they are.

    Good comfortable headphones, great range

For those saying these don't sound - that's because you're not wearing them right - if you wear them correctly, they sound good, not the best I've ever heard but in no way bad, on par with Jaybird X3's, but without the EQ app unfortunately. As for these they have fantastic range, much better than standard bluetooth headphones. I do recommend replacing the plastic 'tips' on the earbuds with some foam ones from Comply, they make them not only sound better but much more comfortable for long (many many hours) use. The downside is the battery. I've tried two headsets and now and the battery drain is a problem - not when you're using the device but the fact the headphones never go into a sleep mode and just stay active - it means that sure, you might get 6-8 hours of actual use time, but they seem to drain just as quickly when not being used. Not sure why this is happening but hoping there is a software fix coming. Overall I really like these headphones and will love them once they start going to sleep and don't stay on and my standby battery life is what you'd expect.

Surprisingly pleased with the BeatsX - Initial Review

I wanted a pair of wireless in-ear monitors, as the wire on my ATH-IM02 tends to get tangled as I'm walking. I have always been skeptical of the Beats headsets, as they are known to overemphasize low frequencies. I tried out the AirPods, but my ears are unfortunately not engineered to fit them very well. So I thought I would give the BeatsX a whirl.

Pairing them with my iPhone 7 was super simple - they popped up; I clicked connection; and we were set to go. They also showed up thereafter in the Bluetooth settings on my Mac (not connected) - I haven't figured out how to have the BeatsX switch from my iPhone to my Mac yet.

The fit is alright, but I expect that fit and isolate sound even better with some tips from Comply.

I haven't experienced any connectivity drops yet - both for listening to music as well as on phone calls. This was one area concern for me.

In terms of sound, I am going to reserve judgement (will write a follow up review). But I am pleasantly surprised that they don't seem bass heavy!

Looking forward to seeing how they perform over time - good job, Apple!

    Great product ..

I m coming from Tour 2 and i must say the beats x are very good headphones ... the bass is not that bad at all (like mentioned in lots of reviews) it is not as punchy as it was on tour 2 but bass is still there.. it is much more balanced clear sound . If u want more bass just turn on bass booster in equalizer... it does the job . Battery life really is 8 houres .. which is great.

    So far so good

I'm very happy with these and I have no remarks on the sound or quality. I have some bad experiences with Beats in general regarding quality and the ones I have been using have broken down on several occasions.

The sound is really good, make sure your earbuds are fitted nicely to your ears otherwise you loose bass.
The battery time is really good, have been enjoying them for long periods of time and used the quick charge once with good result.
They feel comfortable and they dont weigh much at all.

However they look a little bit weird around your neck, really cool tough when stuck together with the magnets.

Finally, something that is maybe the most important of all for me is durability, I want a pair that lasts me atleast two years with daily use. I dont use them while working out. But anything shorter than that and I'm gonna be sad.

Buy them, you wont regret it. Tad bit on the pricey side but hey they are bluetooth and the freedom of having my phone in another room while walking around getting crisp sound and clean quality on my calls is amazing.

    Worth the money

These are great headphones, sound is top notch and easily stay in my ears/around my neck. Only drawback is the cord isn't adjustable so it tends to slap me in my face/cheeks a lot, which is why I gave 4/5 stars. Also the case the headphones are stored in could be a little bigger and zip! Overall, I would highly suggest these to anybody! Wireless headphones make life at the gym so much simpler!

    I really like these!

I have tons of earbuds and headphones so I know what sounds good and what doesn't. I really like the Beats X earbuds. They are super comfortable and so light that you don't feel much if anything in your ears or on your neck. They aren't noise canceling but the earbuds cancel out a lot of noise on their own so really, NC isn't necessary with these. They sound pretty good overall but they could be a touch louder but they are loud enough for 99% of people I think. The carrying case leaves a lot to be desired. It's just a silicone sleeve with an open end. ,aybe it will work. Maybe it won't. Time will tell. I prefer a carrying case like the zip up one they send with the power beats wireless.
Charging is simple. Pairing is simple. There isn't much not to like about the Beats X. There is no resistance when turning my head like I get with some earbuds from the cords pulling on my neck. Battery life is good enough. The one thing I'm not sure about is sweat. How will they do on a really hot set of days after a bath in salty sweat? We will see..

    Some of the best

These bluetooth earbuds are great! They do everything nicely, there are a few things I wish they supported like being able to pair them to two devices at the same time. My old LG HBS-730 bluetooth headset did that, I found it odd that these didn't, the beatsX are really comfortable and I can wear them all day long. I also thought I liked having the battery indicator in the notification bar for the bluetooth headset like with my LG's but I see for the beats the battery life is indicated after swiping up from the bottom and then selecting your beatsX. None of those were deal breakers for me and I thoroughly enjoy this headset.

This really should be a 4.5 rating

I couldn't rate these at a full 5 stars, only, because the call quality is a bit less than that of earpods. THE KILLER FEATURE is the bluetooth range and penetration. I lock my phone in a gym locker and keep hearing music on the other side of the gym. I'm guessing its 150+ feet away going through a walls and all the gym equipment and everyone else's cell phone and bluetooth ear phones. Sound and ease of pairing are also just as good as many already stated.

Great earbuds, solution for undersized carrying case

The good: Performance and controls exactly the same as urBeats wired earbuds in both sound quality and ambient noise levels, W1 chip provides quick and seamless Bluetooth connections as advertised.

The bad: Carrying case too small and cumbersome to use. Purchased via Amazon.com a small zippered pocket change purse, about 3"x 5", problem solved!

4.5 out of 5 stars because of carrying case

Great headphones, but need a little tweaking.

    Pros:
    Design
    Ear adapters
    Connectivity(but also a negative)
    Magnets
    Sound

    Cons:
    Connectivity
    Random music playing
    End call/play pause button

I really enjoy these headphones. I own the Plantronic Backbeat Go and I enjoy those as well for different reasons. I would not recommend these headphones for jogging or outdoor activities(for safety reasons). These headphones block a lot of noise and you should be able to hear somewhat what is going on around you. For this reason I enjoy the Plantronic. These headphones are great for studying, airplanes, or in the gym. I started a call today and then connected the headphones, then out of nowhere music started playing and would not stop until the phone was reset(iPhone 7). The play/pause/end call button sometimes takes a firmer press for some reason. The Plantronic are updatable, I do not know if these are. I mountain bike and this is why I compare these to the Plantronic. I am not a brand junkie but functionality and sound and these sound really well. These headphones need some minor tweaking, but they are awesome sounding and work great.
