    Best Wireless Earbuds for iPhone

Great set of wireless headphones if you are using them casually. They aren't sweat proof, so that's something to consider. But if you're an active traveler, I'd find it hard to argue for the money that you can find a better pair of wireless headphones. The W1 chip and lightning charging capability with fast fuel make them worth every penny. 5min gets you TWO hours of playback! On top of that, I've easily put over 7hrs of nearly continuous use without them dying. That makes them perfect for keeping wires out of your way when on a plane, in the airport, and walking to the next destination. Get these, you won't be angry. I would give them 5 stars if they had slightly more midrange and mid-low performance. But with that said, they sound good for what they are.

    Good comfortable headphones, great range

For those saying these don't sound - that's because you're not wearing them right - if you wear them correctly, they sound good, not the best I've ever heard but in no way bad, on par with Jaybird X3's, but without the EQ app unfortunately. As for these they have fantastic range, much better than standard bluetooth headphones. I do recommend replacing the plastic 'tips' on the earbuds with some foam ones from Comply, they make them not only sound better but much more comfortable for long (many many hours) use. The downside is the battery. I've tried two headsets and now and the battery drain is a problem - not when you're using the device but the fact the headphones never go into a sleep mode and just stay active - it means that sure, you might get 6-8 hours of actual use time, but they seem to drain just as quickly when not being used. Not sure why this is happening but hoping there is a software fix coming. Overall I really like these headphones and will love them once they start going to sleep and don't stay on and my standby battery life is what you'd expect.

Surprisingly pleased with the BeatsX - Initial Review

I wanted a pair of wireless in-ear monitors, as the wire on my ATH-IM02 tends to get tangled as I'm walking. I have always been skeptical of the Beats headsets, as they are known to overemphasize low frequencies. I tried out the AirPods, but my ears are unfortunately not engineered to fit them very well. So I thought I would give the BeatsX a whirl.

Pairing them with my iPhone 7 was super simple - they popped up; I clicked connection; and we were set to go. They also showed up thereafter in the Bluetooth settings on my Mac (not connected) - I haven't figured out how to have the BeatsX switch from my iPhone to my Mac yet.

The fit is alright, but I expect that fit and isolate sound even better with some tips from Comply.

I haven't experienced any connectivity drops yet - both for listening to music as well as on phone calls. This was one area concern for me.

In terms of sound, I am going to reserve judgement (will write a follow up review). But I am pleasantly surprised that they don't seem bass heavy!

Looking forward to seeing how they perform over time - good job, Apple!

    Great product ..

I m coming from Tour 2 and i must say the beats x are very good headphones ... the bass is not that bad at all (like mentioned in lots of reviews) it is not as punchy as it was on tour 2 but bass is still there.. it is much more balanced clear sound . If u want more bass just turn on bass booster in equalizer... it does the job . Battery life really is 8 houres .. which is great.

    So far so good

I'm very happy with these and I have no remarks on the sound or quality. I have some bad experiences with Beats in general regarding quality and the ones I have been using have broken down on several occasions.

The sound is really good, make sure your earbuds are fitted nicely to your ears otherwise you loose bass.
The battery time is really good, have been enjoying them for long periods of time and used the quick charge once with good result.
They feel comfortable and they dont weigh much at all.

However they look a little bit weird around your neck, really cool tough when stuck together with the magnets.

Finally, something that is maybe the most important of all for me is durability, I want a pair that lasts me atleast two years with daily use. I dont use them while working out. But anything shorter than that and I'm gonna be sad.

Buy them, you wont regret it. Tad bit on the pricey side but hey they are bluetooth and the freedom of having my phone in another room while walking around getting crisp sound and clean quality on my calls is amazing.

    Worth the money

These are great headphones, sound is top notch and easily stay in my ears/around my neck. Only drawback is the cord isn't adjustable so it tends to slap me in my face/cheeks a lot, which is why I gave 4/5 stars. Also the case the headphones are stored in could be a little bigger and zip! Overall, I would highly suggest these to anybody! Wireless headphones make life at the gym so much simpler!

    I really like these!

I have tons of earbuds and headphones so I know what sounds good and what doesn't. I really like the Beats X earbuds. They are super comfortable and so light that you don't feel much if anything in your ears or on your neck. They aren't noise canceling but the earbuds cancel out a lot of noise on their own so really, NC isn't necessary with these. They sound pretty good overall but they could be a touch louder but they are loud enough for 99% of people I think. The carrying case leaves a lot to be desired. It's just a silicone sleeve with an open end. ,aybe it will work. Maybe it won't. Time will tell. I prefer a carrying case like the zip up one they send with the power beats wireless.
Charging is simple. Pairing is simple. There isn't much not to like about the Beats X. There is no resistance when turning my head like I get with some earbuds from the cords pulling on my neck. Battery life is good enough. The one thing I'm not sure about is sweat. How will they do on a really hot set of days after a bath in salty sweat? We will see..

    Some of the best

These bluetooth earbuds are great! They do everything nicely, there are a few things I wish they supported like being able to pair them to two devices at the same time. My old LG HBS-730 bluetooth headset did that, I found it odd that these didn't, the beatsX are really comfortable and I can wear them all day long. I also thought I liked having the battery indicator in the notification bar for the bluetooth headset like with my LG's but I see for the beats the battery life is indicated after swiping up from the bottom and then selecting your beatsX. None of those were deal breakers for me and I thoroughly enjoy this headset.

This really should be a 4.5 rating

I couldn't rate these at a full 5 stars, only, because the call quality is a bit less than that of earpods. THE KILLER FEATURE is the bluetooth range and penetration. I lock my phone in a gym locker and keep hearing music on the other side of the gym. I'm guessing its 150+ feet away going through a walls and all the gym equipment and everyone else's cell phone and bluetooth ear phones. Sound and ease of pairing are also just as good as many already stated.

Great earbuds, solution for undersized carrying case

The good: Performance and controls exactly the same as urBeats wired earbuds in both sound quality and ambient noise levels, W1 chip provides quick and seamless Bluetooth connections as advertised.

The bad: Carrying case too small and cumbersome to use. Purchased via Amazon.com a small zippered pocket change purse, about 3"x 5", problem solved!

4.5 out of 5 stars because of carrying case

Great headphones, but need a little tweaking.

    Pros:
    Design
    Ear adapters
    Connectivity(but also a negative)
    Magnets
    Sound

    Cons:
    Connectivity
    Random music playing
    End call/play pause button

I really enjoy these headphones. I own the Plantronic Backbeat Go and I enjoy those as well for different reasons. I would not recommend these headphones for jogging or outdoor activities(for safety reasons). These headphones block a lot of noise and you should be able to hear somewhat what is going on around you. For this reason I enjoy the Plantronic. These headphones are great for studying, airplanes, or in the gym. I started a call today and then connected the headphones, then out of nowhere music started playing and would not stop until the phone was reset(iPhone 7). The play/pause/end call button sometimes takes a firmer press for some reason. The Plantronic are updatable, I do not know if these are. I mountain bike and this is why I compare these to the Plantronic. I am not a brand junkie but functionality and sound and these sound really well. These headphones need some minor tweaking, but they are awesome sounding and work great.

    Excellent

M1 makes all the difference. I was a happy user of Jaybird headphones for years and never found another pair that was compelling enough to change. The only reason I bought these was for the M1. I have many Apple devices, and typical bluetooth headphones are a pain to use between multiple drives. With these, pairing and switching connections actually works and is super simple. The battery life is excellent, and the quick charge feature is game changer. The sound quality and fit is really great as well and on par with Jaybird.

My only complaints are that I wish the mic button doubled as the power button, like most other headphones, instead of having a separate power button. And I'm not a fan of the harder, rubber cable that sits on your neck. I'd rather the cable was shorter and hung freely behind my neck like the Jaybirds do.

    Otherwise these are great headphones.

    Great headphones - 1 Flaw

The M1 chip truly changes the overall quality of headphones these days, 3rd party companies are going to have to seriously step up their game to compete with the technology. The beatsX are overall, a great wireless headphone solutions for everyday use working out or just listening to music and taking calls. However there is one major design flaw, the cord length is way too long. I'm 5-10 and the cord sticks out on either side of neck and hangs down toward my chest in an awkward way. This has to be the case for nearly 90% of the people that buy this product, I don't understand why Beats/Apple would include such a long cord assembly as it flops awkwardly when I run and workout and I can see it in my peripheral vision all the time. Just not as streamlined as it could be, perhaps sell two different sizes?

Excellent design, sound & ease of use - not for cold weather

Great design and fit, really easy to use, excellent sound. I took them on a backcountry ski outing at around 15 degrees, and they turned off after about 15 minutes into my hike up...seems like they'll be great for other sports as they fit tightly and stay in. Cool feature how the earpieces snap together. Highly recommended other than in cold weather.

    like beatsx, but...

i love the beatsx. great earbuds; greatly enjoying them & highly recommend them. however, there are a few areas that could be improved: 1 - they are difficult to turn on, it's hard to tell when they are on/off and pairing is smooth, but not as smooth as it could be; 2 - can't listen to them while they are charging; 3 - while they are charging, my iPhone doesn't detect them so I don't how charged they are until i disconnect from the charger. over time, i hope apple/beat by dre fixes these minor issues. but i love the buds -

    Easy to use. Good sound

VERY easy to use with any IOS device. Sound is good. Not as good as my Bose over the ear headphones, but these are earbuds and cost $200 less.

Good Looking, Clever Design, Ordinary Sound

Gray one is really beautiful, and the overall design is nice - especially the lightening charge, very convenient. But the sound is average.

    Great Beats.....but the case

    Got my pair today.

    1st impression

Sound Quality: they are really great, good Bass from these set. As a EDM fan i always look for rich Bass without distortion

Build Quality: Seems really sturdy for now, my concern is if these would be great for work outs. Apple doesn't state they are sweat proof or splash proof.

Fit: Fit has always been a issue for me, having small asian ears and even smaller ear canals. So with that said I have put peoples children through college at Comply for their foam tips. So far so good, with the initial sizing, and haven't fallen out while walking the dog tonight.

Pro: Magnetic connection is amazing. Traditional head phones i dangle around my neck either end up falling or end up tucked into my t shirt like I'm charging a pacemaker or something.

Con: It comes with possibly the worst made "carrying case". its hard to describe..... its a rubber bean shaped thing where you squeeze it open, and your supposed to stuff your headphones inside. Im OCD about my electronics, I've tried to fold it like in the video and its looks like a stuffed empanada. its doesn't offer any protection. I think I'm gonna steal my bf PowerBeats2 case. that at least you can open and close that and gives you a sense of protection. Removing the headphones from its "rubber bean" isn't easy either. You have to yank them out. you can't even turn it upside down, shake them out onto your palm. This is no bueno.

All in all its a good value and 4/5 stars. The rubber non-closure bean, squeeze to open thing is a miss on so many levels.

Almost as awesome as Studio wireless 2.0

Pros: Comfortable, lightweight, easy to pair, charges quickly, fantastic sound quality, and beautiful. Cons: Can only control volume on smart devices. No independent volume control. Will max volume for standard Bluetooth transmitters in TVs and sound systems.

    Finally!

Great Sound. Love the choice of earbuds. Only concern is when the magnetic earbuds connect around my neck, the music does not turn off. I don't want my music to continue playing when it is not in my ears.
