    Never last!

I like apple products but since the headphone jack was removed from the phones and these new earbuds came out the sound is beautiful but they have been pure garbage. Please just bring the headphone jack back or at least have them work longer than a couple months

    AirPods & the lighting connectors

the lighting head phone adaptor, I keep buying them, they only work for about six months. Worst thing apple did was to get rid of the little mike-hole on the phone. None of the high quality manufacturers are making their headphones with a lighting connector. I bought the apples wireless AirPods but battery does not last more than an 1 hr. max 2 hr. Not worth the money if you can not enjoy it or have to keep buying them. Their warranty also poor.

TERRIBLE AND BREAKS QUICKLY!!! DO NOT BUY

Bought these and after 2 months, they started losing sound, the cord started to fray and the sound in one ear was completely gone. Volume had to be fully up to even bareley hear it in the one ear. WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN! AND YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER!

Let’s try this one more time....

Yeah, my earphones are going on almost 7 months (possibly 8?) old. They’re the original that came with the iPhone X. However, I’m hoping I just had a defect with that pair. The part where the wires meet and go into the single strand completely ripped and now the wires are showing. Basically doing the same thing the charging cable does. Granted, I sleep with my earphones and this is the first pair I’ve used with the charger/headphone splitter (not sure that using that makes a difference), but I’ve never had a pair do this and I’ve tied up my older pairs (the ones with the jack) in horrible knots before. The only reason I’ve ever had to replace them was because of water damage or too much earwax buildup to the point that they couldn’t be cleaned. The sound hasn’t cut out, but the volume coming out of my headphones has been slowly vanishing (I mostly have to turn it up to 10-13 to hear anything now, but I’m thinking this is due to earwax buildup anyway). Gonna buy my first replacement pair now and see how it goes.

    Not worth it

I got the iPhone 8 Plus about a month ago and they did not even last me that long the mic stopped working and the sound keeps cutting off. I maybe would have considered getting them again but they are not worth it at all

    I love it

I have been using these EarPods ever since I got the iPhone 7 which has been a little over a year now. I love the way you can adjust the volume with the little thing on the wire (I don’t know what it’s called!). It has been my best friend and worked perfectly. Recently though, I noticed the left ear would randomly stop working and then only the left one would work only for it to switch again. It’s great, I just wish it lasted longer.

Good sound, breaks within a few weeks

Got these with my new phone months ago, thought they were pretty cool, they have a great sound but within a few weeks they broke and this isn’t my first pair.. i has a few of these and they just don’t work out. One day I have sound and the next I don’t, it’s sorta like you have to giggle the cord to make the sound come through.

Great product.... but a waste of money

Like most apple fans, this product is an absolute necessity however I find myself buying a new pair of these EarPods at least once every couple of months. They start to have very poor sound quality within a few months and become obsolete soon after due to the annoyance of having to turn the volume up to 14 (out of 16) just to be able to hear. Anyway, it’s a good scam considering I’ve bought at least 15 pairs in the past few years.

    Horrible lasted 3 months

I recently got the iPhone 8plus. ... was excited to use these new EarPods but they only lasted 3 months. The sound keeps going out on the left bud and it gets annoying when I’m trying to listen to music. The song keeps getting cut off. Very disappointed since I only had them for such little time.

The Worst Headphones Apple has Made

While the sound coming from the earbuds is actually an improvement, it won't matter within a couple weeks because the earbuds will stop working. At first it was an occasional blip, when the content I listened to would advance or rewind by 15 seconds. Then it turned into a real pain when, every time I moved, a short in the connector caused the content to pause, skip tracks, or shut down the app entirely. I'm a long-term Apple adherent and the earbuds I had on my old, bricky iPod lasted me five years. The only reason I replaced them was because I got an upgraded iPhone. Apple needs to reorient it's priorities back to providing their customers a quality product at a considered cadence instead of trying to push out a new phone every year or so.

    The best

These EarPods are simply the best!!!!!! The sound quality is amazing and they are durable. I accidentally left them in my pocket and threw them in the washing machine and they survived and still sound amazing. I don’t know why their are so many bad reviews but I love them! The one issues I have with them is that my phone does not have a headphone jack, meaning I can not use my headphones without useing a connector.

Used to be made well, now poorly made

I bought my new phone about two weeks ago and with it came new earbuds. They worked perfectly fine up until now. They stayed untangled and straight. Today I noticed the right earbud does not work. The microphone still works and so does the left earbud. My old earbuds went through the washing machine twice and they still worked.

    Short life span

Sound quality for the price is nice, but if you use them daily on your commute or walk in the park dont expect them to last longer than 6 months. The extremely fragile connection between the cable and lightning plug will break because of the low quality materials used around the cable. Compared to the old mini-jack version this has a distinct shorter life span.

    Amazing

These earbuds are amazing. I accidentally left them in my jean shorts pocket and they got put through the wash. When I found them I was pretty sure they were done for but I hung them up to dry anyway. The next day I tried them out and they worked! They are durable and have good sound quality. Definitely worth the $30.

    Dosen’t Work

When you first get them they work great, but they break after a month. Don’t waste your money. Super disappointed in Apple!

    Terrible don't buy

Broke after 6 months, and this was the third time I've bought them.

Terrible customer service (waiting on the phone right now for 10 minutes with annoying music playing). Just buy other headphones.

    iPhone-only headphones?

Why buy a pair of headphones that only mate to current generation iPhones? They sound EXACTLY the same as the 3.5mm ones but don't require the dongle adapter. However, they prevent you from plugging into anything besides a current generation iPhone--including the new MacBook Pros!

Don't buy this if you want connectivity with other devices and don't want to be stuck with a useless component when iPhones upgrade to USB-C

    Absolute piece of trash

I’ve had my iPhone 7 for a while now, roughly a year, and I’m already on my 5th one. My mother also bought an iPhone 7 whose earbuds that I borrow and end up breaking, but it was never my fault. THEY ARE ABSOLUTE TRASH, AND I MEAN IT. I purchased so many pairs just for the sake of just listening to music, and every now and then the earbuds go out and skip a song or stops the song without me telling it to. After a week, the earbuds would give out completely and I would have to figure out a way to buy them again. I had a much higher expectation and I’m genuinely disappointed and dissatisfied in this supposedly “big and trustworthy” company. I didn’t buy a phone for $800 and spend almost $100 on earbuds so that I could trash them in 2 weeks. Huge dissapointment.
