The Iphone 7 headphones are so durable. One day while I was rushing to get my room clean I threw everything in to the dirty laundry bin and went to throw it in the washer and then the dryer. Once the load was done washing and drying i noticed there was a little white plastic string tangled with my socks. I pulled it out, and to my surprise it was my brand new headphones i ran to get my phone, plugged them in and played the first song on my playlist. They still worked! The fact that they were soaked in burning water, whipped around, then whipped around in heat and they still work is pretty surprising because any other pair of headphones would have broke or not worked. My headphones are perfectly fine other than a messed up curly cord but no effect on the sound and volume of the music and sounds coming from the headphones. As an apple customer for 5 years I don't regret for one moment putting all my trust into apple products.

    lasts max 3 -4 months

    • Written by Sakina M from Slough

Granted the sound is great, however for the extortionate price of these headphones you'd expect them to last longer than 3-4 months and have to buy new ones. Currently on my 2nd one and am going to have to go buy my 3rd one tomorrow while only owning an iPhone 7 for just under a year. Can't wait to go back to an android phone!

Why do they still make these?

    • Written by Nick B from Fort mill

The headphones are great..... for the first 5 days. After using them for basically no time at all, they just stop working, and it’s happened to me with every single pair I’ve ever owned.

    Broke again

    • Written by Diamond P from Richmond

I got a replace set because my original set's wires gave out.
Dropped my phone and my headphones broke along with it. Come on now. You're going to drop somethings Sometime, shouldn't break after one drop less than three feet from the floor.

I question Apple Design & Quality

    • Written by Jeff B from ontario

Bought a new iphone 8 for $800 and you would expect to get a decent pair of headphones with the device. I am not expecting to get top of the line noise canceling headphones but at least something that works and is comfortable.

These Earpods are junk in my opinion. Here is my reasoning:

    1) They are not comfortable to wear. It feels like they are going to fall out all the time. And they do fall out of my ears!
    2) They don't block any ambient noise at all. I could careless how they sound; If headphones don't immerse me in the audio they aren't any good!
    3) They have reliability or connectivity issues within 2 days of use. If I wiggle the connector they will lose sync from the phone and I have to resume play constantly! I don't have this issue with the adapter on regular headphones. Just these earbuds

    great headphones

    • Written by Adam M from St Albans

I have used my EarPods for couple of years and I haven't had any problems with them. They haven't broken and have given me great quality of sound.

When I tried new EarPods (Lightning) I noticed significant improvement in sound quality and bass.

Don’t work on my iPhone 6 Plus

    • Written by Abigail R from Perris

I have an iPhone 6 Plus and I got these EarPods with the iPhone X. They worked fine on both devices for around 2 weeks and now they don’t work on my 6 Plus. Every time I connect them, a message pops up saying “this accessory is not supported on this device.” Sometimes, they work for a minute or less before they just stop working. They continue to work on the iPhone X and I’ve already cleaned out my 6 Plus charging port as well updated to iOS 11.2.2. Overall, I’m very disappointed

    Low stars?

    • Written by Roger P from Miami

I don't know why some people complain about these earphones. I have been having them for 3+ months and they are perfect. They are comfortable and it is so much better than the regular earphones. I don't like to be carrying around the adapter because the adapter is also pretty costly and I prefer this one having the lightning connector so like that I can just leave the adapter in my car, or in my house where it can be safe and I don't have to lose it. I recommend to anyone this earphones honestly and as a matter of fact, I am buying a new set for my sister. After she saw that I have a pain, she had been nagging me to get her a pair of these awesome earphones.

    Almost perfect

    • Written by Luuk D from ZEVENAAR

    Hi all,

I've been using my earpods for a while now just to test them.
As a sound engineer I am used to high-end speaker systems, as a reference I took my Shure SE in-ear monitors and a avarage PA system.
My first impression was WOW, the earbud's sound very well for a included pair of earbuds. After using them for 2 weeks I just found one shortcomming. From 16KHz and up I miss a part of my sound, ofcourse this is solvable by using a equalizer but the back side is that I need to turn off the EQ every time I want to use my I phone to play music over a PA system since they are most often perfectly capable of producing that part of the frequency spectrum.

Apple, I hope you can do something with this feedback.

    With kind regards,
    The Netherlands

    Worse Idea Ever

    • Written by lisa M from Petaluma

Stupid idea, Apple! Since purchasing my new iPhone 8, I have wasted about $150 bucks on stupid adapters, dongles, etc, and NO, I do not want your Bluetooth junk next to my skull. Such as waste of time and money! I've been a dedicated Apple consumer for 10 flippin years and unless Apple makes some educated changes, I'm voting with my pocketbook. Samsung, anyone?
