    Ear cups material coming off

My favorite pair of headphones I have ever owned and had zero complaints until the ear cup material started coming off on both sides. Only a year and a half old and gently used.

    Disappointed

I was excited to try these out when I got them but after 5 months Bluetooth started disconnecting, and connecting again over and over it got annoying so I took them off reset them worked well after that. Then suddenly my right side wouldn’t work I only heard the left side it’s a bummer now I expected better quality of beats since it was pricey. Same thing with my Powerbeats³ Wireless. I mean they were great for working out but it’s not worth buying these anymore so I just got the AirPods.

    they hurt my head!

I just got these free with the purchase of a Macbook Pro. I've had them on a few hours, off and on. The sound is fine, I guess, but they're so tight on my head / ears and there doesn't see to be any way to adjust them. It's actually painful and hot. Maybe they try to make a one-size-fits-all design that fits on little kids' heads? My head isn't enormous or anything. This is just a poor / cheap design that does not have any way of really adjusting the tension / tightness.

    Best headphones ever

My husband has had his beats for years so I thought I would buy myself a pair. I’m so happy I did. Great quality, fit is perfect and terrific sound quality. I’m buying my granddaughter a pair for Christmas.

    loved them at first

I use these headphones literally all the time, they were great for about a year, but the ear cup lining was coming out to reveal the foam so I would always have to push it back in, but starting a few weeks ago the sound in the right ear hasn't really been working and a lot of the time a loud painful crackle is coming out of it, really disappointing because they were so expensive and I have no idea whats happened to them.

they're more promising than they end up being

I got these beats with the education deal. They were not for free, I just got the price off my Mac which I had to pay for them. they were definitely not worth it. I charged them fully multiple times & wirelessly they lasted no longer than 3 hours, rather less. that happened multiple times. I'm very disappointed. I had them for a week! They never worked properly. I'm going to try to exchange them tomorrow at the apple store, after I had a talk with the support that was not helpful at all and they only told me, whether I was sure I charged them fully & if they were up to date, like, sorry... not worth it so far. also the same issue with my ears, like others have, they're very sore after I used these headphones.

    Beats Review

I recently bought a pair of Matte Black, Beats Solo3 Wireless – On Ear Headphones. Below, I will go over my experience with them to hopefully provide you with the information you are looking for. Having owned beats for about 2 months now and I have had enough time to familiarize myself with they and can give an accurate analysis.
    Comfort
When they arrived, the packaging was high quality and padded so it protected the headphones during transport. They come with a case for both the headphones and the charging cords. The charging cord case is especially beneficial because it prevents your cords from becoming entangled and frayed. They are on ear headphones with leather padding for comfort and sound insulation. They are sturdy and will remain in place while you exercise, work, study, etc. While they are comfortable for a while, any longer and they begin to make your outer ears sore. When you take them off you can feel the blood flow return to your ears from it being cut off by the headphones.
    Wireless
They are wireless, which is one of the main reasons people buy these. They are incredibly easy to operate and uses Bluetooth to connect to multiple devices. They are super convenient if you own other Apple products like the iPhone, and Mac computers because it recognizes them instantly. It switches between devices easily and doesn’t get confused like other wireless headphones are known to do. They have an amazing range, you can have your phone two floors away and still be connected to the headphones. You don’t have to worry about disconnection that normally comes with wireless headphones. The most important aspects of the solos are the sound quality, it is perfect. It is not like other headphones where all you can hear is bass. It evenly spreads out the music, allowing you to hear all the instruments in a song without distorting the words. Overall, I would give the headphones 3 out of 5 stars because they are good quality but over priced.

    Awesome Headphones!

These are hands down the best headphones I have ever owned, to include the Bose headphones I have. Sound is great, not bass heavy. Battery life is amazing! I can wear them for several hours and they stay comfortable. I would recommend the Beats Solo 3 to anyone looking for quality headphones!

    (Gives thumbs up)

These things are great. They're really just a pair of headphones that are simple to use and have nice, simple and slimming design. They're durable and comfortable to use. I love being able to use mine, the buttons on the side make it easy to manage message and calls while jamming out.

Worst headphones I've ever had (and I had a few).

Got those for free when I purchased a Macbook in an Apple Store. I never had Beats before so I was excited to finally try them out. Comparing to my Bose QuietComfort, Beats are garbage. This is the worst audio performance I've ever experienced and I did test a lot of different headphones. I don't understand why these are so expensive and popular considering this low quality of sound. Sadly, there is no app or settings that allow you to change the EQ. Another thing is that while I was giving those a chance, my head and ears started hurting because of the poor design. It started hurting after 30 minutes so I wonder what kind of pain people have to be in just to have the B logo on their heads. Again, don't spend your money on badly designed headphones that don't even let you enjoy your music.

    Waste of money

If you are looking for good headphones these are not the ones. These are over priced and they only have bass in the right ear. It doesn’t have bass in the left ear which really throws me off so i never use them. So now i wasted 250$ and i will never be able to get that money back. Disappointment.

Makes my ear hurt, my ears turn red

I hate these headphones because if I wear them longer than 10 mins, my ears start hurting because they are so tight and when I take them off, I see that my ears have turned red. Don’t waste your money on these badly designed headphones. The sound is good thou but THERE IS ALSO NO VOLUME BUTTON ON THE HEADPHONES...ABSOLUTELY HATE THESE. Don’t waste your money. There are better more comfortable headphones out there.

    Love/Hate

I bought a Macbook Pro for school in Aug. 2017 and got these for free with the purchase... I was in love for the first 6 months. But then the material covering the cushions started to come off and it didn't take long after that for all of the foam cushioning to be revealed. I also noticed that the material was very thin and it looked poorly made. I'm honestly so mad about how fast they damaged. I used to have a pair of UrbanEars that I got on sale for $30 and they lasted me 3 years before damaging, but for some reason the Beats deteriorated much faster. And for the price they are, you should be able to wear them everyday for longer than 6 months without the material starting to fade and come undone. If they were made better I would say that they are a 5 star product, but because of how fast they deteriorated, I give them 2 stars.

    Great stuff. Like always

Not used to writing reviews, but seriously these headphones deserve more than a 3 star average. These are my latest beats products purchased and I can't be any happier. Great sound quality and noise insulation. Also superior battery life. My solo 2 lasted good 3 years and so I expect these to do.

    Complete trash

I am so absolutely disgusted that I paid a premium price for what I was hoping would be a premium product and it literally only worked twice before it refused to play any audio, despite being connected to bluetooth and me messing around with trial and error of internet fixes on how to correct this issue. Completely dissatisfied and I definitely will not be purchasing anything of the like ever again. What a complete waste of money.

    Simple perfection

I must say that I'm thoroughly impressed with my pair of Beats Solo 3's. From opening the box they came in, to using them among many different devices, what always stood out was the engineering that went into them. Perfect sound, with a nice touch of keeping ambient sound out, all the time keeping nice high, low, and mid range playback top notch. The quality of theses headphones are simply unrivaled by competitors Im completely happy with my purchase and will probably never own any other brands, because I need music in my life, and I gotta have the best. I recommend them, its as simple as that. You will not regret it, and thats a promise.

    No good

Worst head phones. The sound is cheap and tinny. They have to be placed in your ears a very certain way to sound good, and they don’t stay in your ears like that. Don’t even think about using these for running—they don’t stay in ears properly and are apparently not sweat resistant. The battery time boasts 8 hours—HA. Longest battery has lasted since day one has been like 3 hours. I got these 8 months ago and they stopped working today. Worst ever.

    Good

I have had my Beats solo 3 headphones for just over 1 year and I love the sound. Now I realize that the quality is really bad :( I recommend getting the warranty. The nice person at Apple helped me out and got me a semi used pair for $190 witch is a lot of money but cheeper than the $300 for new ones.

    Not recommended

These headphones lasted me about a year. Now the wireless feature doesn’t work and no sound comes out of the right side. While it lasted, it was pretty comfortable and the bass was good but still not worth 300$. Worst money spent ever.
